Overview

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from City Centre High Floor View Apartments when I first walked up to 113 Solidarności – the building looks pretty standard from street level, but you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you right away. The location is actually fantastic if you know Warsaw at all. You’re right in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to pretty much everything that matters – the Old Town, the Palace of Culture (love it or hate it, it’s worth seeing), and honestly some of the best pierogi spots in the city are within a few blocks. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from the metro, and if you’re into the whole hipster coffee scene, there’s this little place called Kawiarnia Kafka just down the street that locals actually go to.

The “high floor view” part isn’t just marketing nonsense either – I stayed on the 8th floor and could see across a good chunk of the city, especially toward the Vistula. Sure, it’s not the Four Seasons or anything (it’s a solid 3-star), but the apartments are clean and surprisingly spacious for Warsaw standards. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs or hit up the bigger Carrefour a few streets over. One thing though – the elevators can be a bit slow during busy times, and I noticed some street noise from Solidarności in the mornings (it’s a pretty major avenue), but nothing that kept me awake. The Wi-Fi was decent, which matters if you’re working remotely, and check-in was straightforward – no drama, just keys and basic info.

What I really appreciated was how the place feels more like staying in someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The furniture’s a bit mismatched in that Eastern European way that’s somehow charming, and there’s actual character here – wooden floors that creak just a little, windows that open wide (rare in newer places), and you get the sense that real people live in the other units. The 7.1 rating seems about right to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s genuine and comfortable, and the price point makes sense for what you get. If you’re the type who needs room service and daily housekeeping, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you want to feel like you’re actually living in Warsaw for a few days rather than just passing through, it works really well. Plus, being on Solidarności means you’re on one of those streets with actual history – this whole area has stories, and you can feel it when you’re walking around, especially in the evenings when the light hits the buildings just right.

Маленький комфортный уютный номер. Поездка была рабочей. Для оного человека самое то. Цена и качество соответствует))

What could be improved: Кондиционера нет. Окно не откроешь очень шумно. Повторюсь, цена = качество. Летом думаю очень жарко в номере.

Niewielkie wygodne mieszkanie na kilkudniowy pobyt

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko do przystanków komunikacji miejskiej, blisko do centrum. Bezpieczna okolica, sklepy i lokale gastronomiczne nieopodal. Lokal malutki, ale czysty, zadbany, przyjemny. Kanapa ok, wygodna do spania. Ładny widok z okna na miasto. Mieszkanie ok na kilkudniowy pobyt, zakładając że głównie w w tym mieszkaniu tylko śpimy.

What could be improved: Brak instrukcji uruchomienia telewizora. Nie udało mi się uruchomić dekodera. Ale to niewielki minus, nie przeszkadzało mi to jakoś bardzo.
Hałas z ulicy - mi to nie przeszkadzało szczególnie, ale jak ktoś ma słaby sen i chciałby spać przy otwartym oknie, to może to być niekomfortowe.
