The street noise isn’t as bad as you’d expect either, though if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs just in case. What really impressed me was how they managed to create this calm, sophisticated vibe inside while being smack dab in the center of all the action. The windows are actually decent quality (you’d be surprised how many city apartments cheap out on this), so you get the energy of the location without feeling like you’re sleeping on the sidewalk.

The space itself feels much larger than typical city center places – they’ve done that thing where everything flows together naturally instead of being chopped up into tiny rooms. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just a mini-fridge and a prayer like some places. I actually cooked a few meals there, which says something because I’m usually too lazy to do anything beyond ordering takeout when I travel. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works (again, rarer than it should be), and there’s plenty of hot water even during peak hours. Storage is thoughtful throughout – they clearly understand that travelers need places to put their stuff without living out of suitcases. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters if you’re trying to get any work done, and the air conditioning keeps things comfortable without sounding like a jet engine. Check-in was smooth, no weird complications or surprise fees that some places spring on you. With a 9 rating, you’re looking at the kind of place where the details are handled properly – fresh linens that actually smell clean, good lighting for reading, and outlets where you need them. It’s the sort of apartment that makes you think “I could actually live here” instead of just surviving your stay.
