You know what? The name “Colourful space, so central” actually delivers on both promises – this place really is right in the thick of things on Jerozolimskie, and there’s definitely a vibrant, artsy vibe going on inside. I mean, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Palace of Culture and Science, which honestly makes getting around Warsaw so much easier than I expected. The location is sort of perfect if you want to be close to everything without paying Old Town prices – you can hop on the metro at Rondo ONZ or just walk to most of the main sights (though I’d recommend comfortable shoes because Polish sidewalks can be… well, let’s just say they’re not always perfectly smooth).

The hotel itself has this quirky, almost hostel-meets-boutique feel that works better than it probably should on paper. Check-in was pretty straightforward, though the lobby can get a bit cramped when there’s a group arriving at the same time. The rooms are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but honestly, when you’re paying 3-star prices in such a central spot, you’re not expecting marble bathrooms anyway. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night, which surprised me given how busy Jerozolimskie gets during the day with all the trams and buses. The walls seem pretty solid, and the windows do a decent job blocking out street noise. The WiFi actually worked well throughout the building (always a gamble in older Warsaw buildings), and there’s decent air conditioning – crucial if you’re visiting during one of those surprisingly hot Polish summers.

Here’s the thing about staying in Ochota that guidebooks don’t always mention – you’re in this perfect sweet spot where you can walk to the trendy Powiśle area along the river, but you’re also close to some really good, no-nonsense Polish restaurants that locals actually go to. There’s a great milk bar just a couple blocks away on Grójecka that serves proper pierogi without the tourist markup, and honestly, the grocery stores in this neighborhood are way better stocked than what you’ll find in the tourist zones. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving – street parking fills up fast, but there are a few paid lots within walking distance. The 7.5 rating feels about right to me; it’s not going to blow you away, but it gets the job done really well for the price point, and the staff genuinely seemed to care about helping guests figure out the city. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to explore beyond just the main tourist circuit.

  The location is perfect and the check-in process is easy and is quick, thanks to the video that was sent to me. The kitchen is well equipped and serves it’s purpose.

  The apartment is colourful indeed, the host is pleasant and sent us lots of details in the email of what to do and where to go.
  The funny thing we liked is about the quest of how to get in. It has quite a few steps, however described very well.

  What could be improved: The air in the apartment was very humid but at the time the weather in Warsaw were more than 30°C so it is understandable. I am glad we had a fan available in the apartment.

  Location was really nice. Room was alright for two persons, and small kitchen was perfect for simple breakfast.
  
  What could be improved: One of the sofas could have been more comfortable. And also bathroom sink would have been nice but the space is quite limited.

  Чудове розташування – лише одна зупинка до центрального вокзалу. Чіткі та зрозумілі інструкції щодо ключів та інших деталей, навіть з відео. Гарні апарти за співвідношенням ціна/якість в самому центрі.
  
  What could be improved: Не вистачило раковини в ванній кімнаті, користувалася раковиною в кухні для вмивання.
  Для виселення надали інструкції з проханням винести сміття – перший раз таке зустрічаю. Йти з валізами та речами і ще з кількома пакетами сміття – не дуже приємна перспектива. Цю опцію власникам варто залишити за собою після прибирання апартів.
