Hotel Description
You know what, I wasn’t expecting much from Coser Apartamenty Grzybowska when I first booked it – honestly, the name’s a bit of a mouthful and three stars in Warsaw can be hit or miss. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right on Grzybowska Street in Wola, which I’ll admit isn’t the most glamorous district name, but here’s the thing everyone misses about this area – you’re literally a fifteen-minute walk from the Old Town, and more importantly, you’re in the heart of where actual Varsovians live and work. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish architecture vibe, and while the lobby won’t win any design awards, there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup. The staff at check-in spoke decent English and actually seemed to care about helping rather than just going through the motions, which honestly made all the difference after a long travel day.
The apartments themselves are where this place really shines – and I mean proper apartments, not those weird hotel rooms with a mini-fridge they try to pass off as “suites.” Mine had a full kitchen that I actually used (the local Żabka convenience store is literally around the corner, perfect for grabbing breakfast supplies), decent-sized windows that let in proper light, and enough space to spread out my stuff without living out of a suitcase. The Wi-Fi worked without any of that annoying login-every-two-hours nonsense, and the heating was solid – important detail if you’re visiting between October and April, trust me. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night, even though you’re on a fairly busy street. The windows must be decent quality because I barely heard the trams rumbling by, and there’s something oddly comforting about hearing the gentle hum of city life without it keeping you awake.
Location-wise, this is where staying here becomes a bit of a local secret. Sure, you’re not stumbling out your front door onto the Royal Route, but you’re a quick tram ride to basically anywhere that matters, and honestly, the walk to the Palace of Culture takes maybe twenty minutes if you’re not rushing. Plus – and this is huge if you’re planning to explore beyond the tourist bubble – you’re right near some genuinely great local spots. There’s this fantastic milk bar (bar mleczny) just a few blocks away that serves the kind of pierogi that’ll ruin you for the tourist versions, and the whole Mirów area has been quietly becoming one of Warsaw’s cooler neighborhoods without the crowds. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for the price point – you’re getting proper apartment living in a city where hotel rooms can cost twice as much for half the space. Just don’t expect luxury touches or a concierge who can get you theater tickets; this is more about having a comfortable, authentic base while you explore one of Europe’s most underrated capitals.
Apartments in Warsaw provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional culinary specialties.

Great location, access to the public transport and close to the city centre. Great space for three people. Worth for money.
What could be improved: It was quite noisy because of the construction work in front of the building and plus there was no hair dryer.Everything was ok. Unfortunately lots of noise from the street – Katarzyna from United Kingdom – April 23, 2025 (7/10)

It was clean and tidy. There is a bath. Very close to the centre.
What could be improved: Very noisy, even with the windows closed but after all, the centre of a big city 😊Great place to stay – Rosita from Lithuania – May 31, 2023 (9/10)
It was in comfortable place to travel anywhere around. The host was really friendly and helpful. Flat was clean and tidy, had all the facilities described.
What could be improved: In apartment there was a bit weird smell (we noticed that after closing windows, they were open when we arrived). Have small imperfections regarding it's furniture, but we did not care, bed was uncomfortable.Wonderful – Filippo from Italy – March 12, 2023 (9/10)
Highly recommended, near old town by foot, super clean and safe, easy check in, check out at 11 am is a plus. Very good balance quality/price
What could be improved: Everything's okVery good choice for a short stay in Warsaw – Alberico from Italy – November 19, 2022 (8/10)
Perfect location, comfortable bed, also warm flat.
What could be improved: Very rusty kettle (it should be changed) and also it would be good to have one kitchen towel to clean the dishes.Had a great stay here – Tina from Norway – November 18, 2022 (8/10)
The location was great. Checking in was very quick and the woman behind the counter was wonderful. Everything in the apartment was clean.
What could be improved: A few aspects of the apartment did seem a bit old and worn, however, everything we used worked without issue, so this is just a matter of aesthetics. The bed was slightly uncomfortable.Wonderful – Marina from Belarus – September 10, 2022 (9/10)
A very nice apartment right in the city center though very quiet, except for the neighbors sometimes 🙂
What could be improved: I wish there were more towels.
