I mean, you’re getting this incredibly peaceful vibe in a city that can feel pretty intense, and the whole minimalist aesthetic actually makes sense here – not just Instagram-worthy nonsense, but genuinely calming after you’ve been walking around the Old Town all day.

The Modlińska area is sort of having this quiet moment right now. It’s not trendy yet (give it five years), but there’s something really authentic about staying here instead of right in the center. The apartment itself lives up to that 9.3 rating – and I’m usually skeptical of anything above 9.0, to be honest. The Japandi thing isn’t just thrown-together IKEA furniture with some plants; someone actually thought about how the space flows. Clean lines, warm wood, those muted colors that somehow make you want to slow down and breathe properly. The bed situation is genuinely comfortable, which… look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places where “cozy” meant “cramped,” but this feels intentionally small rather than accidentally tiny.

Here’s the thing that’ll matter if you’re driving – and this is huge in Warsaw – the parking is actually real parking, not some nightmare parallel situation on a busy street. Modlińska can get busy during rush hour (it’s a main route north), but the apartment’s positioned where you won’t hear constant traffic. I was there in late spring and could sleep with windows open, which tells you something about both the noise levels and air quality. The Żerań area has been getting cleaned up over the past few years, and you can feel it – there’s this sense of a neighborhood that’s figuring itself out in a good way. You’re close enough to the Vistula that you can actually walk to the river if you want some green space, and honestly, that whole riverside stretch is underrated. Most people rush straight to Łazienki Park, but the Żerań side has these nice walking paths without the crowds. Getting into central Warsaw takes maybe 20-30 minutes by tram or bus – not nothing, but not terrible either, and way less stressful than trying to navigate parking in the Old Town. The whole experience feels like you’re getting a glimpse of how Warsaw locals actually live, rather than just hitting the tourist highlights and calling it a day.

  Na pewno nie będę szukać innego noclegu, jeżeli będę musiała zatrzymać się w Warszawie. Nawet na siłę nie znajdę minusów 🙂
