You’re close enough to the action that you can walk to decent restaurants and cafes, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually get some sleep. The breakfast situation is solid too – they’ve got the usual suspects but also some Polish touches that feel authentic rather than token. Check-in was refreshingly quick (they seem to have their systems sorted), and the staff has that rare combination of being helpful without being hovering. The parking situation is straightforward if you’re driving, though honestly, you probably won’t need a car much from this spot. With a 9.5 rating, I was expecting it to be good, but sometimes high ratings come from hotels that are all flash and no substance. This isn’t one of those places – it’s the kind of spot that gets the fundamentals right and then adds some thoughtful extras on top.
