I mean, sure, there’s definitely a contemporary vibe going on with clean lines and that whole minimalist aesthetic, but it actually feels like a place where people live, not just crash for a night.

The apartment setup is really what makes this place shine – and I get why it’s pulling a 9.5 rating despite being technically a 3-star property. You’ve got proper living space here, not just a hotel room with a sad little coffee maker shoved in the corner. The kitchen actually works (I tested it with some local groceries), and there’s enough counter space that you don’t feel like you’re playing Tetris every time you want to make breakfast. The bedroom feels separate from everything else, which is honestly such a luxury when you’re used to everything being crammed into one space. Plus, the windows are decent-sized, so you’re not waking up in a cave.

What really sold me on the place, though, was how quiet it stays. I was there during what seemed like a pretty busy period, and you’d barely know other people were around. The walls must be thicker than usual, or maybe they just got lucky with considerate guests – either way, I actually got some proper sleep. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too, none of that awkward standing around waiting for someone to find your reservation. The whole process felt more like being handed keys to a friend’s place than dealing with hotel bureaucracy. I will say, parking might be something to figure out ahead of time depending on when you’re visiting – it’s not immediately obvious where you’re supposed to leave your car, but once you know, you know. The location itself is pretty solid for getting around, though I’d definitely recommend having a plan for transportation since you’re not exactly in the middle of everything, but you’re not stranded either. It’s that sweet spot where you can find decent food nearby without paying tourist trap prices, but you’re still close enough to wherever you actually need to be.
