The moment I walked in, I could tell someone actually put thought into making this feel like a home rather than just another sterile rental. The apartment has this lived-in warmth that you don’t get at those cookie-cutter hotel chains – think mismatched but comfortable furniture, books scattered around (actual books people have read, not just decoration), and a kitchen that’s clearly been used for more than just heating up instant coffee. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in during months of travel, and I’m pretty picky about mattresses. What really won me over though was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, enough electrical outlets near the bed (why is this so rare?), and a shower with decent water pressure. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, which I appreciated after dealing with street noise at my previous stop.

I mean, it’s not perfect – the Wi-Fi occasionally hiccupped during video calls, and the heating took a while to warm up the place on chilly mornings. But for a 3-star spot, it punches way above its weight class. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you spend a night there – it’s the kind of place where everything just works without any fuss or drama. If you’re looking for something that feels more like staying at a thoughtful friend’s apartment rather than a generic hotel room, this is your spot. Just don’t expect a concierge or daily housekeeping – but honestly, that’s part of what makes it feel so refreshingly authentic.
