Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Dekart Arkadia Apartments” I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but this spot genuinely surprised me. It’s tucked away on Piaskowa Street in Wola, which I know sounds like you’re staying in some random residential area (and well, you sort of are), but that’s actually what makes it great. You’re about a 15-minute tram ride from the Old Town, but you get to experience Warsaw like locals do – there’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner where the staff doesn’t speak much English but their pierogi are incredible, and you’ll find yourself walking past actual Varsovians heading to work instead of dodging tour groups every morning.

The apartments themselves feel like someone’s well-maintained guest flat rather than a sterile hotel room. I mean, you’ve got a proper kitchenette with everything you actually need (not just a mini-fridge and hopes), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable – none of that rock-hard European mattress nonsense. The building’s got character too, in that Eastern European way where it looks a bit Soviet from the outside but the interiors have been thoughtfully updated. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, though I’d recommend arriving during normal hours since it’s not a 24/7 front desk situation. One thing that really stood out was how quiet it gets at night – Piaskowa isn’t a party street, so you’ll actually sleep well, which honestly can’t be said for a lot of Warsaw accommodations.

What I really appreciated was the neighborhood vibe. Wola’s going through this interesting transformation where it’s still authentically Polish but getting these cool cafes and shops mixed in. There’s a Żabka convenience store literally two minutes away (you’ll learn to love these if you spend any time in Poland), and the tram connections are actually better than being right in the center – you can get to Centrum or even out to Wilanów without the tourist markup on everything. The only minor gripe I had was that the WiFi got a bit spotty during busy evening hours, but nothing that ruined the experience. Parking’s available if you’re driving, which is more than you can say for most places in Warsaw. You know what really sealed it for me though? The staff genuinely seemed to care about whether you had a good stay, not in that scripted hospitality way, but like they actually wanted you to discover their city properly. For the price point and that 9-rating it’s got, I totally get why people keep coming back here.

  We stayed in Dekart for 10 days and it was perfect: owners, flat, location. There are parking places nearby, but in Warsaw, they are free just from 8 PM till 8 AM. Also, there is Arkadia shopping mall within 10 minutes of walking on foot, and there is free parking from 7 AM till 12 PM, so if you need your car and don't want to pay – just place the car near Dekart on nightly free parking and move the car to the Arkadia underground parking at 8 AM, then take it back at 8 PM. Free life-hacks 🙂

  A truly great studio. Not one of those "split a regular apartment into a 3 to milk the revenues" type of a place but a nice, lovely, well designed and decorated apartment. The bed was simply excellent.

  What could be improved: The apartment is quite old so there are many visible damages as the apartment is old. They blinders aren’t able to open up nor down because they are broken. Bath tub base also broken but can use normally. We are 3 people staying there and only 2 blankets were found and unfortunately it was a cold week in Warsaw. We message the renter and they weren’t able to provide 1 more blanket or more toilet paper until our last day of the stay(we stayed for 6nights and had only 1 roll of toilet paper) A couple days after staying, the water wasn’t working the whole morning because they are probably fixing something so the whole apartment(probably) had no working water until 1PM, we didn’t know this would happen until we have to ask the renter and she/he was asking for us and tried to help which was very nice. Apart from these stuff, everything was good. The renter was very responsive and quick with response.

  Bardzo wygodne łóżko , duży telewizor , wszystko czysto , kawa i herbata w kuchni. Dostęp do żelazka i suszarki .
  
  What could be improved: Brak ścierki / ręcznika w kuchni. Mogły by być również dwa ręczniki do ciała by się przydały zamiast jednego ( pod kątem kobiety z długimi włosami przydały by się dwa 😂)

  В апартаментах было чисто и аккуратно. Пастельное белье чистое и выглаженное. Есть все необходимое: фен, полотенца, туалетная бумага, тапочки, ложечка для обуви. На кухне чай/кофе/сахар. Есть маленький холодильник. WiFi работал хорошо. Локация близко к торговому центру Аркадия, 10’ пешком до жд станции. На такси от автовокзала Заходний 10’. Инструкция для заселения очень понятная на 3 языках (польский, русский, английский).
  Апартаменты соответствуют описанию. Рекомендую.
