Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place called “Designer Apartment” – you know how those names can be hit or miss – but this spot on Jana Pawła II really delivers. The location is actually perfect if you want to be in Warsaw without dealing with the tourist chaos of Old Town every single day. You’re right in Wola, which I mean, five years ago wasn’t much to write home about, but now it’s where all the cool stuff is happening. The apartment itself has that sleek, minimalist vibe that actually works (unlike some places that try too hard and end up feeling like a furniture showroom). The kitchen is properly equipped – I’m talking real knives, decent coffee maker, the works – which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs instead of eating out constantly.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re on a major avenue. The windows must be pretty decent quality because I barely heard the trams rumbling by, and trust me, those things can be loud. During the day though, you’ve got everything within walking distance – there’s this great little bakery about two blocks down that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and the Rondo ONZ metro station is close enough that you can easily hop over to Centrum or wherever. The building itself feels secure, which honestly can be a concern in some parts of Warsaw, and check-in was surprisingly smooth for what’s basically an Airbnb-style setup.

The design details are what bump this up from just another rental to something special – the lighting is actually thoughtful (you can dim things properly for evening), the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that doesn’t suck, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase the whole time. I mean, it’s not huge – this is Warsaw, not the suburbs – but everything feels intentional rather than cramped. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me; it would probably be higher but the neighborhood is still sort of transitional, so you’ll see some construction here and there, and the elevator in the building is… well, it works, but it’s not winning any speed contests. Still, for the price point and the fact that you’re getting a whole apartment rather than just a hotel room, plus you’re actually staying where Warsaw locals live and work rather than in some sanitized tourist bubble, it’s a solid choice. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge – this is more about having your own space in a city that’s changing fast, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it worth staying here.

  Great location, well connected to the public transport system. Many shops in walking distance for anything you could want to buy. Plenty of options for food at all times of the day
  
  What could be improved: The shower basin is too shallow and would almost overflow after just a few minutes of running water at higher pressure. This was the only real complaint I had about the facilities. The location was very loud due to being on a busy street near a tram stop, but that's no fault of the owner

  The location was great.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was completely dirty. There was dust everywhere, an empty bottle under the bed, and a glass table that was sticky as if it had never been wiped after the previous guest. We found a broken picture frame in the wardrobe and fingerprints on all surfaces. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
  
  Customer support regarding this issue was also poor. On the first night, we received no response and had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the apartment ourselves, as it was uninhabitable in its original condition. The next day, they offered to send cleaners, but it was too late since we had already cleaned the apartment and were only staying for a total of 2 nights.
  
  The host offered a small refund, but it was insufficient considering the effort we put into making the apartment clean. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this apartment to anyone. It had potential, but the state of the apartment ruined our entire stay.

  Αρχικά ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στους ιδιοκτήτες που παρόλο που δεν τους συναντήσαμε ποτέ μας παρείχαν χωρίς χρέωση early check in και ηταν πάντα σε ετοιμότητα και εξυπηρετικοί όταν τους στέλναμε μήνυμα για να ρωτήσουμε κάτι. Ας πάμε σε μια πιο αναλυτική κριτική σχετικά με το κατάλυμα.
  
  1) Τοποθεσια. Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε πολύ βολική περιοχή και κοντά σε όλα. Πολύ καλά συνδεδεμένο με συγκοινωνίες, δίπλα σε σουπερμάρκετ και μέρη για φαγητό. Βρίσκεται σε κεντρικό δρόμο από τον οποίο παραδόξως δεν υπάρχει καθόλου φασαρία, μόνο αν περνάει κάποιο ασθενοφόρο ή περιπολικό με ανοιχτές σειρηνες θα ακούσετε κάποιο θόρυβο.
  
  2) Καθαριότητα. Έπειτα από κάποια σχόλια που είχα διαβάσει ήμουν λίγο ανήσυχος. Ωστόσο όλα ήταν πεντακάθαρα και χωρίς κανένα σημάδι φθορας. Πραγματικά όλα ήταν σαν καινούρια και πολύ προσεγμένα.
  
  3) Παροχές. Στο διαμέρισμα περιλαμβάνονται, smart tv, όλα τα κουζινικά σκεύη, πιστολάκι μαλλιών, είδη υγιεινής και κάποια ροφήματα σαν καλωσόρισμα. Αριστερά όταν εισέρχεσαι υπάρχουν 3 μεγάλες ντουλάπες πολύ βολικές για όταν μπαίνεις και βγαίνεις. Σε μια απο αυτές περιλαμβάνεται σίδερο και στην άλλη extra πετσέτες, μαξιλαροθήκες, σεντόνια και μαξιλάρια. Σε ένα δωμάτιο ξεχωριστά υπάρχει πλυντήριο – στεγνωτηριο (παρά πολύ καλό αν θες ταξίδι με λίγα ρούχα) και μια ηλεκτρική σκούπα. Μέσα στην κρεβατοκάμαρα υπάρχει Extra αποθηκευτικός χώρος, φωτιστικά, καθρέφτης και το κρεβάτι είναι πολύ καλό και βολικό. Ο καναπές ήταν καλός επίσης χωρίς ωστόσο να τον χρησιμοποιήσουμε και σαν κρεβάτι για να έχουμε άποψη.
  
  Άλλο ένα θέμα που με απασχολούσε ήταν η θέρμανση γιατί δεν έχει air-condition αλλά τελικά το διαμέρισμα είναι πολύ ζεστό (κοιμόμουν μόνο με κοντομανικο).
  Ζεστό νερό υπάρχει μόνιμα και ένα σχόλιο που είχα διαβάσει περί κάποιου θέματος στη ροή από ότι φάνηκε είχε επιλυθεί. Θα επέστρεφα σιγουρα. Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ!

  El apartamento es muy confortable y luminoso. El sofá-cama es bastante cómodo y los espacios muy cálidos.
  
  What could be improved: No nos gustó la falta de toallas. Solo disponíamos de dos toallas de ducha y dos para las manos cuando éramos 4 personas. Además, la ducha se inundaba por lo que tenías que ser muy rápido en ducharte. La siguiente persona tenía q esperar un rato hasta que el agua se colara.
