Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Dworzec Gdański Apartament? The name literally means “Gdańsk Station Apartment,” and I was honestly expecting some cramped, noisy place above a train platform. Boy, was I wrong. This 3-star spot actually delivers way more than you’d expect – I mean, a 9.0 rating doesn’t just happen by accident.
The whole setup feels like staying at a friend’s well-appointed city pad rather than a typical hotel. When you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how real people live and move through a space. The apartment layout gives you room to spread out your stuff (finally!), and the kitchen area means you’re not stuck eating out every single meal – which, let’s be honest, gets expensive fast in Gdańsk. I found myself making coffee in the morning and just enjoying the quiet before heading out to explore the old town. The furnishings have that clean, Nordic-influenced Polish style that’s everywhere in this part of the city now, but it doesn’t feel sterile or showroom-perfect. There are little touches that suggest actual humans live here sometimes – good lighting for reading, proper hangers in the closet, outlets where you actually need them.
What really sold me was the neighborhood vibe. You’re positioned in this sweet spot where you can walk to the main attractions without being right in the middle of tourist chaos. I could hear the city humming along – trams in the distance, people heading to work – but it wasn’t disruptive. Actually reminded me why I love staying in residential areas when I travel. The building itself has that solid, pre-war Polish construction feel, which means thick walls and genuine quiet at night. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward lobby hovering while they figure out your reservation. The whole experience just flows naturally, from arrival to settling in to heading out to explore. Honestly, for the price point and that killer rating, you’re getting the kind of stay that makes you want to come back to Gdańsk sooner rather than later.

Such a big apartment, clean and nice. They leave for us adress and when we arrived was easy to find them. Wasn’t need waiting someone who will open doors and show accommodation. Key was in box. So easy and safe a lot of time

Location is superb. It's literally across the road from Warszawa Gdanska station, from where my train was departing, so super convenient. And only 2 min walk from tram number 1 and metro station. Good view, decent size, it had a bathtub.

Halina from Belarus (9/10)
I liked everything except the thing I mentioned below. The advantages: the metro is really close;
all the necessary stuff for cooking, cleanliness, contactless check-in and check-out, comfortable bed, beautiful view from the windows. The windows themselves were very atmospheric. So in total I can say it is a cosy flat situated in a rather good districtNatalia from Ukraine (9/10)
