Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Praga Poludnie,” I had to look it up on the map. But honestly? That turned out to be one of the best parts about staying at Eastside Warsaw Apartment. You’re tucked away on Kinowa Street in what locals call the “real” Warsaw, and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s on the third floor (no elevator, just so you know), but once you’re up there, you’ve got this surprisingly spacious setup that feels way more homey than your typical hotel room. The whole area has this lived-in neighborhood vibe – you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyards below and smell whatever Mrs. Kowalski next door is cooking for dinner.
What really sold me on this place was how easy it became to slip into actual Warsaw life. There’s a little grocery store literally around the corner where the cashier started recognizing me by day three, and the tram stop on Grochowska (about a five-minute walk) gets you across the Vistula to Old Town in maybe fifteen minutes. The apartment itself is pretty well thought out – decent WiFi, a kitchen that actually has everything you need if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up, and surprisingly good water pressure in the shower. I mean, it’s not fancy – the furniture is that practical IKEA-style stuff and you can definitely hear your upstairs neighbors when they’re moving around – but everything works and it’s clean.
The neighborhood really grows on you, you know? During the day, Praga Poludnie has this quiet, residential feel, but come evening, you’ll discover these little bars and cafes that don’t show up in guidebooks. There’s this place called Café Kulturalna just a few streets over that serves the best coffee I had in Warsaw (and trust me, I tried a lot of coffee). Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’ve got a car – street parking is hit or miss, and the locals definitely know all the good spots. But honestly, you don’t really need a car here. The public transport is solid, and walking around this part of the city gives you a totally different perspective than staying in the touristy center. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and if you’re looking for room service and a concierge, this isn’t your place. But if you want to actually experience Warsaw like someone who lives here – hearing Polish conversations in the stairwell, figuring out which bakery has the freshest bread, getting your bearings in a real neighborhood – then this little apartment on Kinowa Street is pretty much perfect. Just pack light for those three flights of stairs.

Everything was ok – Calvin from Belgium – August 22, 2024 (8/10)
Everything was great
What could be improved: I asked about the late check out – at 12. It was confirmed, but on the day the cleaner came after 11.A nice place with comfy beds – Julija from Lithuania – April 20, 2024 (8/10)
The property is nicely fitted and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. We struggled with finding a parking space and ended up driving in circles for a while and parking rather far away. There is a shop just across the street.
Very Good – Simon from United Kingdom – August 11, 2024 (8/10)
A good location with a supermarket opposite and easy tram to the centre.
What could be improved: It was a little too small, and the sheets and duvets didn’t quite fit the second bed.Decent apartment in a convenient location – Paul from United Kingdom – May 28, 2024 (7/10)
Great location due to proximity to transport links and neighbourhood facilities, cafes, bakery, supermarkets etc. There was a good range of cooking implements. Being a corner apartment there were windows on 2 sides and it was modern and pleasantly laid out.
What could be improved: Although there were privacy blinds, they didn't block the light to any degree with meant our children woke up early. One of the double mattresses was incredibly soft. The addition of a child's high chair (such as an IKEA Antilop) would have been of value. It was a little dusty on arrival.Exceptional – Rita from Latvia – August 14, 2025 (10/10)
The location is excellent, with parking and shops all nearby. The host was wonderful, and the instructions on how to collect the keys were very clear. Everything was perfect.
Bad value for money versus hotel – Katarzyna from Netherlands – June 13, 2024 (5/10)
The location was convenient for us and the apartment was clean but there were quite a few issues that could be so easily improved…
What could be improved: A lot of small things were annoyingly not right: the bathroom needed some fixes (shower leaking, shelves falling off), there was a power outlet sticking out in the corridor (with a toddler that’s dangerous), there was little toilet paper and no kitchen paper. Bedsheets, towels and all beds were all super thin and cheapest possible. On top of everything in the middle of the stay someone just entered into our apartment without knocking and suggested we were late for checkout, so lock the door… overall if you don’t need to use the kitchen definitely just get a hotel instead.Very nice apartment to return to in future. – Niedzielski from Poland – February 2, 2024 (10/10)
Very nice recently refurbished apartment close to public transport and city center. Apartment was quiet and warm.
What could be improved: Nothing I'd think of.Can't recommend the apartment for summer stay due to lack of air conditioner – Thetov1 from Latvia – June 29, 2024 (6/10)
– The apartment had washing machine, dishwashing machine, iron, hair drier etc.;
– Next to the building is groceries store and house hold store;
– We had no problem with parking, despite the fact that it is public. PS. parking is free;
What could be improved: There was no air conditioner. We stayed during the hot week (29-30 decree Celsius), that wasn't possible to sleep with closed windows and considering that Poland has a lot of loud cars that were terrible nights.No, no and NO again – do not pay the asking price for this accommodation. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! – Dace from Latvia – June 26, 2025 (2/10)
The only good thing I can say about this place is its location – it was a 10 minute drive to the center.
What could be improved: Look at the pictures of this apartment and divide by 10 and then it will be reality:
1. The apartment was not clean – there were nets hanging from the ceiling throughout the apartment;
2. There were holes in the walls;
3. There was a hole burned in the bedspread. It felt like there had been a drug addicts' gathering here and they had smoked in bed;
4. The double bed is super small / narrow;
5. There is exposed wiring everywhere;
6. Several pieces of furniture that are visible in the pictures are NOT in reality in this apartment – there is no wardrobe, no such sofa, no such lamps;
7. The owner had left 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 people for a 2-day stay, and there were no paper towels either;
8. There was only 1 knife for use – a bread knife, so it's better not to count on it;
9. We were not provided with internet for two days, so there was no WiFi or the possibility to watch TV;
10. There are no clothes hangers (not even in the only closet in one of the rooms). You could mostly only put your belongings on the floor;
11. Everything made of textiles (including sofa covers) is worn out.One of cheap option – Emre from Poland – June 9, 2025 (5/10)
Easy and self checkin + quick response for message
What could be improved: 2025 june should be more clean bed sheets
