Hotel Description
You know what surprised me most about this place? For an apartment hotel tucked into Warsaw’s Old Town, it actually manages to feel both historic and refreshingly modern at the same time. The 2Eco Royal Apart is one of those spots where you walk in expecting typical tourist accommodation and instead find yourself in something that feels more like a friend’s well-designed city pad.
The location on Senatorska is honestly pretty perfect if you’re the type who wants to be in the thick of things without dealing with the chaos of the main square every time you step outside. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Castle Square, but when you want to grab coffee in the morning or find a decent grocery store, you’re not fighting through crowds of tour groups. The building itself has that solid, pre-war Warsaw feel – thick walls that actually keep street noise to a minimum, which matters more than you’d think when the weekend crowds descend on the Old Town. The apartments themselves surprised me with how much thought went into the layout. These aren’t those cramped hotel rooms masquerading as suites – there’s actual counter space in the kitchen, enough room to spread out your stuff, and windows that open properly (small thing, but you’ll appreciate it in summer).
What really sells this place, though, is how it hits that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment independence. Check-in was smooth – no standing around a cramped lobby with your luggage – and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well enough to give useful recommendations. They pointed me toward this little pierogi place on Freta that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me the heads up about which tram lines to avoid during rush hour. The eco-friendly angle isn’t just marketing speak either; they’ve got proper recycling sorted, energy-efficient everything, and those little touches that show they’re thinking about environmental impact without making a big show of it. Honestly, with a 9.0 rating, I was expecting to find some catch – maybe it’s overpriced or the photos are misleading – but the value here is genuinely solid for what you get. Three stars might sound modest, but this feels more polished than some four-star places I’ve stayed in Warsaw. The only minor gripe I’d have is that if you’re traveling heavy, there’s no elevator in the building, so definitely mention which floor you’d prefer when booking. But really, for exploring Warsaw’s Old Town while having a comfortable base that doesn’t feel like every other tourist hotel, this place gets it right.

A great apartment within walking distance of many sites. It contains everything you would need for both short and long stays. There are supermarkets and fresh food stalls close by, and a working kitchen for self catering. Also plenty of restaurants if you do not want to cook. Public transport is only a minute or two away. Hosts are helpful.

This is a great apartment to stay right in the center of Warsaw. Very clean, and with modern furnishings, as shown on photos. The living room has nice panoramic window facing the historic building. Location close to the Old Town (about 7-10 mins walk), parks (Saski, Krasinskih), to public transportation (tram, buses, metro). Also nearby are convenience stores (Carrefour Express, Zabka) and a few cafes. The host has been very helpful, being in touch very easily, and accommodating. Good wifi and TV.
