Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “ECRU Luxurious Apartment in Port Praski with Balcony WWA35,” I rolled my eyes a bit. It’s one of those generic booking site names that tells you absolutely nothing, you know? But honestly, this place surprised me in the best way possible. Port Praski isn’t the touristy part of Warsaw that everyone talks about – it’s actually this emerging neighborhood on the right bank that’s got this interesting mix of old industrial buildings and new residential developments. The apartment sits right in the middle of all that transformation, and there’s something pretty cool about watching a city reinvent itself from your morning coffee spot.
The balcony is really what makes this place special, and I mean that. It’s not some tiny afterthought where you can barely fit a chair – you’ve got actual space to spread out here. I spent way more time out there than I planned, especially in the evenings when the light hits just right across the Vistula. The apartment itself has this clean, minimalist thing going on (hence the “ecru” name, I guess – it’s all these soft, neutral tones that actually work really well together). The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights. I mean, eating out in Warsaw is fantastic, but sometimes you just want to grab groceries from the little market down the street and cook something simple. The bed was genuinely comfortable – and I’m picky about that – plus the shower has actual water pressure, which you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in European apartments.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re still connected to the city. Port Praski has this residential feel that a lot of Warsaw neighborhoods have lost, but you can still catch the tram and be in Old Town in maybe twenty minutes. The host was responsive without being overly chatty (some people love the super personal touch, but I prefer the “here’s your key, text me if anything breaks” approach). Parking was surprisingly straightforward too – there’s street parking that doesn’t require you to decode some impossible app system. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be some luxury hotel experience, but it nails what it’s actually going for. If you want to feel like you’re living in Warsaw rather than just visiting it, and you don’t need to be right in the thick of the tourist zone, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

That was one of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed. First of all it’s located in a new loft district which is just 15 min walk from the old city of Warsaw. it has nice coffee shops, bars, wine shops and supermarket. the apartment itself is completely new, it has everything one may need. Very comfy bed and sofa, great TV, all new and clean. very large terrace with a table for work and breakfasts. Super large bathroom. Just great. The host is super responsive and let us know checkin earlier.

Wszystko było ok. Fajny czysty apartament. Niestety na booking adres zapisany jest 12 Stefana Okrzei 25, no i wpisałam w nawigację Okrzei 25. Błądziłam. Okazało się że ma być Okrzei 12 a to 25 to nr apartamentu 🙂 Te info były w łopatologicznej instalacji przesłanej w wiadomości. Więc już nigdy nie będę sugerować się info na booking tylko trzymać się będę ściśle instrukcji 🙂 to tak ku przestrodze.

Die Wohnung liegt in einer Seitenstraße in Praga und die Altstadt von Warschau ist leicht mit der Fußgängerbrücke über die Weichsel erreichbar. Unser Auto stand die ganze Zeit in der Tiefgarage und wir waren nur mit den Fahrrädern unterwegs. Wir haben die Klimaanlage und Kaffeekapselmaschine intensiv und auch den Waschtrockner genutzt. Gefrühstückt haben wir auf dem Balkon und wenn etwas fehlt, ist direkt im Gebäude ein kleiner Supermarkt mit Fleischer. Ein deutscher Discounter ist in der Nähe und neben der Metrostation, ebenfalls in Laufweite, ist ein großer Supermarkt. Gaststätten jeglicher Nationalität laden in Praga zum Abendbrot ein. Viele Museen, einschließlich dem Königspalast, haben an einem Wochentag freien Eintritt. Wir werden Warschau wieder besuchen und dann versuchen diese Wohnung zu buchen.
