The name itself tells you everything – this place used to be a power plant, and honestly, they’ve done something pretty incredible with the industrial bones of the building. I mean, Powiśle is already one of Warsaw’s coolest neighborhoods, sitting right along the Vistula River, but this apartment takes that whole trendy-meets-historic vibe and actually pulls it off without feeling forced.

The space itself has this perfect balance of exposed brick and modern touches that doesn’t scream “look how hip we are” – it just feels naturally stylish. What I really appreciated was how they kept some of the original industrial elements (the high ceilings, the thick walls that actually block out street noise) while making sure everything works for real people. The kitchen isn’t just pretty to look at; you can actually cook in it, and there’s proper counter space for spreading out your farmers market finds from Hala Koszyki, which is basically a five-minute walk away. Speaking of walking, you’re right in the sweet spot where you can stroll to the river for morning runs or evening drinks at one of those floating bars – but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos of Old Town every time you step outside.

I’ll be straight with you though, this isn’t the kind of place where you’re getting round-the-clock concierge service or turndown chocolates. But that 9.3 rating makes sense because what you do get is a genuinely well-thought-out space in a neighborhood that feels like actual Warsaw, not tourist Warsaw. The area gets lively on weekend evenings (Powiśle has become quite the nightlife spot), but the building’s solid construction means you’re not hearing every conversation from the street. Plus, you’ve got the Museum of Modern Art practically next door, and the whole Wybrzeże area is perfect for those long riverside walks that make you feel like you’ve discovered something locals have been keeping secret – even though, honestly, the secret’s been out for a while now. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because you realize you’ve found that rare apartment that actually enhances your experience of the city instead of just providing a bed to crash in.

  Чудове розташування апартаментів, дуже близько до центру міста, біля самого парку. Поруч бібліотека, де можна піднятися на дах, зупинки автобусів, кафе, магазини, все, що треба для комфортного відпочинку.
  В самих апартаментах повністю облаштована кухня, що дуже порадувало, бо було зручно готувати сніданки-вечері. Є пральна машина, для мандрівників на кілька днів стала дуже в нагоді.
  Швидко відповідали на всі питання, які виникали, допомогали вирішувати їх.
  Квартира дуже світла, чиста, комфортна.
