You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Emerald Residence Warsaw – I mean, the name’s a bit of a mouthful, right? But honestly, this place surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on Gandalfa street in Mokotów, which if you know Warsaw at all, is actually a pretty sweet spot. You’re far enough from the tourist chaos of Old Town to feel like you’re living like a local, but close enough that you can hop on the metro and be in the center in maybe 20 minutes. The building itself has this modern, clean look that doesn’t scream “hotel” – more like a nice apartment complex where someone you know might live.

The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering (seriously, try finding decent parking in Warsaw and you’ll understand). It’s included, which saved me probably 30-40 złoty a day, and the spots are actually big enough for normal-sized cars – not those tiny European spaces where you have to squeeze out through the sunroof. Inside, the apartments are spacious and feel genuinely homey. I stayed in a one-bedroom unit and was shocked by how much room there was – the living area had this big couch where I actually wanted to hang out, not just collapse after sightseeing. The kitchen was fully equipped too, which came in handy because there’s a Żabka convenience store literally around the corner, and a proper Carrefour about a 10-minute walk if you want to cook something decent. The Wi-Fi was solid (I was working remotely part of the time), and the whole place stays pretty quiet even though you’re in the city – the windows do a good job blocking out street noise.

What I really appreciated was how the Noclegi Renters team handled everything. Check-in was smooth, they actually answered their phone when I had questions, and they gave me proper local tips – not just the usual tourist stuff. They told me about this little pierogi place on Puławska street that ended up being one of my favorite meals in Warsaw. The area itself grows on you pretty quickly. Mokotów has this lived-in feel with tree-lined streets, and you’ll see families walking around, people walking their dogs, that sort of thing. There’s a tram stop about a 5-minute walk away that connects you to basically everywhere you’d want to go. I mean, it’s not the most exciting neighborhood if you’re looking to party every night, but if you want a comfortable base where you can actually relax between exploring the city, this hits the spot. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully put together. For the price point, especially with parking included, I’d definitely stay here again.

  Deck was critical since it was the only way to cool down on a hot day. No air conditioning is in this apartment and no working TV. The hosts did not respond to help to the next day, and then did not help at all. Do not expect help if you have issues, and there will be issues.
  
  What could be improved: TV was not functional, it would only turn on. No remote control for the TV. We spent 4 hours the first night and 3 hours the next day trying to get help from Booking, from Renters, and from the owner. No help until the afternoon of the second day. The technician came and said we had no remote control. Uh yes, that is what we had been saying. They thought we did not know where it was or what it looked like. He search through everything and did not find it. Now the first night we found a way to turn on the tv and select inputs, but none of the 4 HDMI ports worked. So we navigated with the single button on the bottom of the Sony TV, to a netflix app, Oh the TV is not configured to access the internet! So we were there for 4 days and 3 nights and the TV was not functional.
  
  Even worse than having the TV out, was the service help we received, about 12 phone calls, numerous chat messages and emails, and no help until day 2 of our 3 day stay. Service was terrible, non responsive, and once arriving they just said too bad, no remote will have to wait until next week to use the TV.
  
  Second day the temperatures reach 90 degree F or 33 C. The apartment was not bearable even with the windows open. We had to make sure we were somewhere else. The night was so hot we slept on the outdoor deck from most of the night.
  
  Now for the little things. Opening the door requires great effort and technique. It does not just open by turning the handle. They no this and have not corrected it and likely will not correct it. There was black mold in the corners of the shower. You would think they would clean this by now. Several lights in the apartment do not work, the lights in the bedroom do not work, one light in the living room flickers around the top of the room on and off, the light above the mirror in the bathroom does not work so you cannot do makeup in there. The bed is not a queen bed, and it is about a foot off of the floor. Table in kitchen is cramped, no livingroom tables

  Wspaniały klimat (pianino, książki, oświetlenie), piękna łazienka z podgrzewaną podłogą, przytulny szklany balkon, cicha i zielona okolica. Duży plus za miejsce na parkingu podziemnym.
  
  What could be improved: Mały minus – w kuchni wbudowany ekspres do kawy, szkoda że nie da się go użyć, bo nie ma w apartamencie kawy (ja ze sobą nie wożę ziaren kawy) 🙂

  Visādi citādi ok apartaments, bet baigi piepīpēts, es otreiz nepaliktu. Un par pārkingu, pirms tikt pārkingā ir jāpaņem pults dzīvoklī – epastā angļu valodā tas viss neskaidri sarakstīts. Virtuvē viss nepieciešamais gatavošanai, mājā lejā ir liels pārtikas veikals, brokastis, ja slinkums gatavot, var paēst mājā esošajā beķerejā. Forša apkārtne, ir kafeinīcas, veikaliņi.
