You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of apartment hotels in Warsaw, and erApartments Mennica Residence on Grzybowska really gets it right. The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with Old Town tourist chaos – you’re right in Wola, which locals know is where the city’s business heart actually beats. I mean, you can walk to the Palace of Culture in about fifteen minutes, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by those sleek office towers and some genuinely good restaurants that aren’t trying to fleece visitors. The building itself sits on this busy street, but here’s the thing – the apartments face inward toward a courtyard, so you don’t get the constant hum of traffic that you’d expect from Grzybowska.

The apartments themselves feel properly lived-in, if that makes sense. Not sterile like some serviced places, but actually comfortable with decent-sized kitchens (the dishwasher was a pleasant surprise) and living areas where you can spread out your stuff. I stayed in a one-bedroom unit, and honestly, the bed was better than half the four-star hotels I’ve tried in the city. The whole place has this modern Polish design thing going on – clean lines, lots of light wood, nothing too fancy but everything works. What I really appreciated was the little details: proper coffee cups instead of those tiny hotel ones, a washing machine that actually fits more than three shirts, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure was incredible. You don’t realize how much you miss a proper shower until you’re three days into a trip with one of those dribbling hotel fixtures.

Getting around from here is actually easier than from most central locations because you’re close to Rondo ONZ metro station, and the trams on Grzybowska run constantly. I found myself walking everywhere though – it’s that kind of neighborhood where you discover little cafes tucked between office buildings, and there’s this great Vietnamese place about two blocks down that the hotel staff recommended (they were right, by the way). The front desk team knows their stuff; they gave me directions to a proper grocery store instead of just pointing toward the nearest tourist trap. Check-in was smooth even when I arrived early, and they stored my bags without any fuss. The only minor thing – and I’m being picky here – is that the elevators are a bit slow during morning rush when business travelers are all heading out at once, but honestly, that’s about as serious as my complaints get. For the price point and that 8.9 rating, this place delivers exactly what it promises: a proper apartment experience in one of Warsaw’s most connected neighborhoods.

  Good location, close to the city center, the apartment had all the necessary amenities, convenient access to the building and apartment using code locks. Before settling in, we had to check in via video call to confirm our identity, but it was easy and fast, no inconvenience. The apartment was clean and tidy, pretty interior.

  Amazing location – few minutes to the train station and tube, tram is round the corner! Very clean and cozy. Enough place for 4 adults. The host was very helpful and respectful. Communication was nice and fast. As a bonus, we had nice coffee machine))
