You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first booked Fantastic Waw – honestly, the name alone made me a little skeptical. But sometimes the places with quirky names turn out to be hidden gems, and this CH5 Room B110 definitely falls into that category. The moment I walked in, I could tell this wasn’t your typical cookie-cutter hotel experience. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup – it feels more like staying at a really well-organized friend’s place than some corporate chain property.

What really struck me was how much attention they’ve put into the small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The room itself is compact but smartly laid out – I mean, they’ve somehow managed to fit everything you need without making it feel cramped. The bed is surprisingly comfortable (and I’m pretty picky about mattresses), and there’s actually decent natural light, which is rarer than you’d think in a lot of places. Check-in was smooth too – no waiting around or complicated key card situations that never work on the first try. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing, probably because this isn’t some massive operation where you’re just another room number.

I’ll be honest though – this isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a fancy lobby or Instagram-worthy amenities. But that’s sort of the point, I think. What you get instead is genuine value and people who actually care about whether you have a good stay. The neighborhood itself has that lived-in feel where you can grab decent coffee in the morning and find a proper meal without having to venture too far. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which – let’s be real – can make or break a trip sometimes. The noise level was totally manageable too; I could hear some street sounds during the day but nothing that kept me up at night. If you’re the type of traveler who values substance over flash and appreciates when a place just gets the basics really, really right, this spot will probably surprise you the same way it surprised me. Plus, with ratings like theirs, it’s clear I’m not the only one who feels this way about the place.
