You know what caught me off guard about Fantastic Waw? The name honestly had me expecting some sort of over-the-top tourist trap, but walking into room C215 was actually refreshing in its straightforward simplicity. I mean, this isn’t trying to be something it’s not – it’s a solid 3-star spot that just gets the basics really, really right.

The thing about this place is how quiet it gets after about 9 PM. I stayed there during what felt like a busy week, and honestly, I was surprised by how well the sound carried (or didn’t carry, I should say). The room itself has this lived-in comfort that you don’t always find – like someone actually thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone or how annoying it is when the bathroom light switch is in some weird spot. The bed was firmer than I usually go for, but I slept better than I have in months. There’s something about the way the morning light comes through those windows too… not too harsh, just enough to ease you awake instead of shocking you into consciousness.

What really sold me though was the little stuff nobody thinks to mention in reviews. The shower pressure is fantastic – and I’m someone who’s stayed in plenty of places where you’re basically getting misted by sad, lukewarm water. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (tested it during a work call, no drops). And here’s something I appreciated: the check-in process was smooth without being overly chatty. Sometimes you just want to get to your room, you know? The staff seemed to get that balance between helpful and letting you do your thing. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly matters more than people realize when you’re hauling luggage and trying to figure out if you’re in the right spot. I’d definitely come back – it’s one of those places where you can tell they’ve figured out what travelers actually need versus what looks good in photos. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but sometimes you just want a place that works exactly like it should.
