The apartment itself surprised me – in a good way. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, but whoever runs it clearly gives a damn about the details. The “green” in the name isn’t just marketing speak either; there’s this genuine attention to sustainability that you notice in small ways throughout your stay. The windows face toward some of the tree-lined streets that make Żoliborz famous, and during spring and summer, you’ll actually hear birds in the morning instead of just traffic. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile – I mean, the furniture looks like someone actually chose it rather than ordering it in bulk from some hotel supply catalog. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward lobby hovering you get at bigger hotels.

What really won me over, though, was the location itself. You’re a short walk from the Vistula riverbank, which honestly becomes your evening routine after a day of sightseeing – locals jog and walk their dogs there, and it’s where you go to decompress. The neighborhood has these small cafes and shops that close at reasonable hours (not everything’s open until midnight here, which is actually nice), and you’ll find yourself picking up groceries at the same places your temporary neighbors do. Getting to the Old Town or city center is straightforward enough, but you’ll probably find yourself spending more time just wandering Żoliborz itself. That 9.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, but it nails what it’s actually going for. If you want to feel like you’re visiting Warsaw rather than just checking tourist boxes, this is honestly one of the better ways to do it.
