Hotel Description

You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Warsaw, and Focus Hotel Premium really surprised me – in the best way possible. It’s tucked away on Suwak Street in Mokotów, which honestly is perfect if you want to avoid the tourist chaos but still be connected to everything. I mean, you’re not right in the Old Town madness, but the metro connections are solid, and there’s something refreshing about staying in an actual neighborhood where locals live and work. The area has this quiet residential feel during evenings, but you’ve got decent restaurants within walking distance – there’s this little Polish place around the corner that the hotel staff actually recommended (they seemed genuinely excited about it, not just doing their job).

The hotel itself feels like someone actually thought about what business travelers and tourists need, rather than just throwing together generic “luxury” stuff. Check-in was smooth – no weird delays or confused front desk situations that seem to plague some Warsaw hotels. The rooms are well, they’re really well done. Not massive, but smartly designed with proper lighting for actually reading or working, and the beds are legitimately comfortable. I’m pretty picky about mattresses, and I slept better here than I expected. The bathrooms have good water pressure, which sounds trivial until you’re in a hotel where the shower feels like a gentle mist. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – Mokotów can get busy during the day with traffic, but inside the rooms it’s genuinely quiet. You can actually open the windows for fresh air without feeling like you’re sleeping next to a highway.

Honestly, the 9.4 rating makes sense once you’ve been there. It’s not flashy or trying too hard to impress, but everything just works the way it should. The breakfast setup is solid without being overwhelming – fresh stuff, good coffee (important!), and they don’t run out of things by 9 AM like some places. Parking is available if you’re driving, which in this part of Warsaw is actually a big deal since street parking can be a nightmare. The staff seems to know the neighborhood well too – they gave me specific directions to places that were actually helpful, not just generic tourist suggestions. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to experience Warsaw more like a local rather than bouncing between major tourist sites. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a few days and feel comfortable, whether you’re here for business or just exploring the city at a reasonable pace.

Reviews

  • Grateful for the wonderful service this stay! – Martina from United States – August 13, 2025 (9/10)

We were able to get a cot for out room so that 3 of us got separate beds. An upgrade to a larger room was very appreciated so that weren't all crammed together! Clean and largely empty gym and sauna we used daily with great joy. The breakfast buffet is excellent but very overpriced. Many shops and places to eat within walking distance

What could be improved: Cost of breakfast. We stay here because it is close to family, but this is not a central location for touristic spots.

  • Fantastic! – Robin from United States – August 12, 2025 (10/10)

Pretty much everything. The breakfast buffet was out of this world!!!!

What could be improved: Only minor quibble–it's a little far from the city center, but that's easily dealt with with a short Uber ride.

  • Exceptional – Alexander from Spain – August 12, 2025 (10/10)

    Overall, a wonderful hotel

What could be improved: I deducted 1 point from the hotel, and here’s why: there was a sign on the electric vehicle charging station stating that it was out of order. Guests should be informed about this in advance

  • business – Zlatko from Slovenia – August 11, 2025 (10/10)

Hotel is nice and in good area

  • Great Stay like always – Ashutosh from Poland – August 9, 2025 (9/10)

    Location

    What could be improved: NA

  • Wonderful – Anna from Poland – August 4, 2025 (9/10)

The room was spacious and clean

What could be improved: The pillows – were to “high” and uncomfortable. Also breakfast is not adequate to the price – not bad but not woow.

  • Exceptional – Slawomir from Poland – August 3, 2025 (10/10)

    Great hotel with good breakfast

What could be improved: I could have cheaper stay than in booking but the staff proposed only expensive room

  • The room is nice, but the air is quite stuffy – Elnara from Ukraine – August 3, 2025 (8/10)

I like the location and the interior of the hotel

What could be improved: 1. I don’t like dry air from air conditioners, but I couldn’t even open the window for ventilation at night. The reception informed me that the windows in my room don’t open, not even a few centimeters. This was one of the reasons I chose to stay at another hotel on my way back.
    2. The eggs served at breakfast had an unpleasant taste, almost as if they were old — although I can’t say for certain.
    3. When making the reservation, I specified that I preferred a room not facing the railway, as I was staying for just one night and wanted to enjoy a peaceful stay, which is important to me. The hotel replied that they would take this into account. However, upon check-in, I was assigned room 1127, which had both a view of and noise from the trains. I was tired and didn’t want to go through the hassle of changing rooms, but it was disappointing that my request during booking was not taken into consideration.

  • Exceptional – Liveta from Ireland – August 2, 2025 (10/10)

Very clean, perfect location close to shops and a beautiful view.

  • Exceptional – Lexxcode from Ukraine – August 1, 2025 (10/10)

A wonderful stay in a quiet and charming area
This is a beautiful and well-maintained hotel located in a peaceful neighborhood. Just a 7-minute taxi ride from the airport, it's very convenient for travelers. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. I especially enjoyed the lovely on-site restaurant with delicious food. There's also a gym and sauna available for guests. I’ve already recommended this hotel to all my friends!
