Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Folk by Anne? It’s one of those places where the name actually tells you everything you need to know. I mean, this isn’t some cookie-cutter hotel chain – it feels like staying at someone’s thoughtfully curated home, if that someone happened to have impeccable taste and understood exactly what tired travelers actually want.
The whole setup is refreshingly honest. Anne (yes, there’s actually an Anne) has created this collection of apartments and rooms that somehow nail that sweet spot between boutique charm and practical comfort. The 3-star rating might make you think it’s just another mid-range place, but honestly, that 9.5 guest rating isn’t an accident. I’ve stayed in plenty of 5-star places that felt more sterile than special, and this place gets the fundamentals so right it’s almost annoying – like, why can’t more places figure this out? The rooms have this lived-in elegance where everything feels intentional but not precious. You’ll find proper coffee equipment (not those sad little packets), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and – this matters more than people admit – really good lighting that doesn’t make you look like a zombie in the bathroom mirror.
What really gets me is how they’ve thought about the small stuff that makes or breaks a stay. The beds are properly comfortable, not just Instagram-pretty, and there’s actual space to unpack your suitcase (revolutionary concept, I know). The kitchenettes in the apartments are set up like someone who cooks actually designed them, with sharp knives and pans that aren’t scratched to hell. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no forced upselling or lengthy explanations of amenities you’ll never use. The whole place has this quiet confidence about it, like they know they’re doing things right and don’t need to oversell it. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with flashy extras, but sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just… work. And honestly, when you’re paying for a 3-star place but getting an experience that feels more premium than half the “luxury” spots out there, that’s the kind of find you end up telling people about months later.

Diana from Romania (10/10)
It is a property with only 3 rooms each with private bathroom. They also have a common small kitchen and living room area. They have a coffee machine where you can have a coffee every morning and they alao give you come water, juice and snacks for free. Very clean and modern. They also have a private outside parking if needed. It is quite close to the city center (about 20 minutes walk). You can also take the bus to reach the old town (2 ride stops) but I don’t think it is worth it. Right next to the location you have a supermarket, a pharmacy and a few coffee places. The owner also gave us some advice about the best places to eat.

The apartment is stylish, with great attention to guest comfort—drinks are provided in the fridge, clear instructions are available, and the price includes a parking space. The beds are extremely comfortable. The hosts are very helpful. Appartment is near to old town in walking distance, and you can reach comfortably any place in town by public transport.
