The 45 square meters might sound small on paper, but whoever designed this space really knew what they were doing – there’s this clever use of corners and the balcony that makes everything feel more open than it should. Plus, and this is huge if you’re renting a car, the parking situation is actually sorted out, which… well, if you’ve ever tried to park anywhere near Warsaw’s center, you’ll appreciate that more than any fancy lobby.

The apartment itself has this clean, no-nonsense vibe that I really appreciated. Nothing too fancy, but everything works properly – the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed, the shower has decent pressure, and the kitchen has enough space to actually cook if you’re trying to save some złoty on meals. The balcony faces toward the courtyard, so mornings are pretty quiet, though you do get the occasional sound of kids playing below, which honestly felt kind of charming rather than annoying. What surprised me was how easy it was to get around from there – the bus connections to the metro are better than expected, and there’s this little Żabka convenience store just around the corner that became my go-to for morning coffee and those weird Polish yogurt drinks I got addicted to. The neighborhood has this lived-in feeling, with actual families and working people rather than just tourists stumbling around with maps, and I found myself walking different routes just to see the mix of old communist-era blocks and newer developments.

  It’s personal but the location was good for me.
  
  What could be improved: Apartments were dirty, the dishwasher was with something inside which smelled really bad. It was dusty everywhere. There was no air conditioning, only ventilator, but it’s really hot in the flat in summer. The door to the bathroom was broken and it was not possible to close it. So, the quality of the flat is not acceptable for this price.
