Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of three-star places that barely scrape by with the basics, but Gama is honestly something different. When I first walked in, I wasn’t expecting much – you know how it is with smaller hotels that don’t have fancy lobbies or doormen in gold-braided uniforms. But there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. The staff remembers your name after one night, and I mean genuinely remembers it, not that fake hospitality thing where they’re reading it off a computer screen.

What really got me was how they handle the little things that most places completely ignore. The shower pressure is actually decent (I know, revolutionary concept), and they’ve got these thick towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out – like whoever designed them actually considered how real people move around a space. There’s enough plugs near the bed, the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train. Honestly, after dealing with so many hotels where basic functionality seems optional, these details matter more than you’d think.

The location is pretty solid too, though you’ll want to know what you’re getting into. It’s not right in the thick of everything, which means it’s actually quiet at night – I slept better there than I have in months. But you’re still close enough to walk to the main areas without feeling like you need to plan an expedition. Parking can be a bit tight during busy periods, but the front desk folks are good about helping you figure out alternatives nearby. I stayed there during what I later learned was peak season, and while things got a bit hectic in the mornings (breakfast room fills up fast), the energy was more lively than chaotic. The 9.4 rating this place has? Yeah, I get it. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. You’re not getting marble bathrooms or a concierge who can get you last-minute theater tickets, but you are getting a place that feels like the owners actually stay there sometimes and notice when things aren’t working right.

  Modern, very clean property. Excellent location; next to the tube, supermarket and local bakeries. Easy to travel to the centre of Warsaw and easy to find by public transport or car. Plenty of parking close.

  The apartment is well equipped and has a great location close to metro stadion. It is nicely furnished and very clean. It looks exactly like in the pictures. It is located by a busy street, but it is quite sound proof. We have really enjoyed staying there.
