The Praga district is just across the river (that’s where all the hip galleries and craft beer spots are hiding), and the Old Town is close enough that you can walk there when the weather’s decent, though the tram connections are solid if you’d rather not hoof it. I actually ended up spending most evenings just wandering the neighborhood around the studio, discovering these little pierogi joints and late-night cafes that definitely don’t make it into the guidebooks. The area has this authentic Warsaw vibe – you know, where actual people live and work, not just tourist central with overpriced everything.
