Hotel Description

You know what really struck me about GO Apartments when I stayed there last spring? It’s tucked away on Kolejowa Street in this quietly evolving part of Wola that honestly feels more like where actual Varsovians live rather than tourist central. I mean, you’re still only about fifteen minutes from the Old Town by tram, but there’s something refreshing about stepping out in the morning and seeing locals heading to work instead of tour groups with matching backpacks. The building itself has that clean, modern Polish apartment block vibe – nothing fancy from the outside, but once you’re inside, it’s actually quite thoughtfully done. The lobby smells faintly of that particular cleaning product they use in newer European buildings (you’ll know it when you smell it), and check-in was refreshingly straightforward with staff who seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions.

The apartment I had was honestly bigger than I expected – these aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. There’s a proper kitchenette that you could actually cook in if you wanted to hit up the Żabka down the street for groceries, though let’s be real, with all the milk bars and pierogi spots within walking distance, why would you? The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the whole place had this lived-in quality without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night – Kolejowa isn’t exactly a party street, so you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. The Wi-Fi actually worked properly too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but here we are.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to the Warsaw Uprising Museum in about ten minutes – which, by the way, absolutely do that if you haven’t been – and there’s a decent tram connection that gets you pretty much anywhere you need to go. The area around Kolejowa has been quietly gentrifying, so you’ve got this interesting mix of old-school Polish convenience stores next to newer cafes where twenty-somethings work on laptops. I found myself grabbing coffee most mornings from this little place called Coffee Heaven just a few blocks over (nothing revolutionary, but solid and cheap). Parking was actually manageable if you’re driving, which is saying something for Warsaw. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for apartment buildings here. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works – clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and in a neighborhood that gives you a real feel for how the city actually functions beyond the tourist bubble. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer visit where I wanted to settle in rather than just crash between sightseeing marathons.

Reviews

  • Comfortable, calm and chill – Laureline from Belgium – August 3, 2025 (9/10)

Amenities were nice, general building clean and modern, helpdesk very helpful and available.
Location is perfect, good connection to the subway or tram.
We were given a nice baby bed.

What could be improved: The shower head was pointing pretty much horizontally and it offered no way for us to redirect it.
The washing machine leaked by the end of our stay, we informed the staff and they did try to help us so no real complaints there.
We were told we could leave our bags early but the cleaning staff wasn’t too happy about it and only allowed us to do so, grudgingly.

  • It was cold in the night and the warmer didn’t work – Carla from Israel – July 6, 2025 (8/10)

Nice property very clean. Many restaurants around the property, the staff are okay. The metro 5-6 minute near to the apartment.

What could be improved: 2-3 months before we asked for our apartments and our friends' apartments to be next to each other. When we arrived we were given different blocks. What if we were a family that had taken two apartments to be close to the children? In our apartment instead of a sofa that opens, there was a regular sofa… so you can't sleep in the living room. If we wanted a single bed, we would get a hotel room. In the end, they didn't even give us a room in the same block.

  • Probably the best apartments in Warszawa – Andrey from Spain – July 5, 2025 (10/10)

Politeness staff, clean, close to center. Many food stores and cafes around. Interesting design. A lot of space in apartment.

    What could be improved: –

  • Amazing stay that will offer you anything you may think of! – Charalampos from United Kingdom – June 30, 2025 (10/10)

The location of the property is amazing offering everything you may need during your stay within a few minutes on foot.

What could be improved: Nothing. Everything was perfect! However, the only thing that could be improved is the pillows

  • Nice apartment in the modern city area – Kitti from Hungary – June 29, 2025 (10/10)

The location was awesome, modern house block with many shops and restaurants. Public transport is widely available nearby. The room is modern and has all the necessary things. The breakfast place (Miau Grau) has many options and offers huge servings.

What could be improved: Everything was great. The only thing I could mention is that the shading wasn’t sufficient for us, we were awake early in the morning. A heavier curtain would be better.

  • Small but beautiful and well equipped. – Madhur from India – June 18, 2025 (10/10)

This was one of the best properties. Though it was small apartment but the kitchen was well equipped. They had stocked basic spices, coffee pods and had a small but beautiful balcony. Since then it’s been 13 days now and every third day we have come to a different city with a different apartment. No other apartment has been so well equipped and clean as Go Apartment. The location was also not far from Metro / Tram / Bus Station. We thoroughly loved it. I honestly cannot point out anything after staying at various other places. This was the best.

  • Very nice apartment – Marco from Italy – June 6, 2025 (10/10)

Big apartment in a very good neighborhood.
    Comfortable bed and equipped kitchen.
Easy to communicate with the host.
    Fast Wifi.

What could be improved: They helped us with the late check-in since we had an issue with our motorbikes but it was not possible to park in the internal parking anymore.

  • Nice apt for vacation – Somin from United States – June 1, 2025 (9/10)

    Location, amenity

    What could be improved: .

  • Very well managed apartment – Gillian from United Arab Emirates – May 27, 2025 (10/10)

Everything. From the moment we collected our keys to our exit. We were sent directions to the office to check in. The staff present there( wish I had learned his name) was extremely hospitable, explained how to get to the apartment and the parking along with giving us a printed sheet. It made it so easy to navigate our way
