You know what, I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first saw the name “Golden Apartment with Air Condition by Your Freedom” – it sounds like something that got lost in translation, right? But this place on Mokotowska Street actually surprised me in the best way. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Warsaw rather than just visiting it. You’re literally in the heart of Śródmieście, and I mean the real heart – not some touristy version of it. Within two minutes of walking out the door, you’ll hit that stretch of Mokotowska where all the locals grab their morning coffee, and honestly, the café scene there is incredible. I spent way too much money on pastries, but no regrets.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which I actually loved. The air conditioning (clearly a selling point given the name) works perfectly – and trust me, you’ll appreciate it during those surprisingly hot Warsaw summers. The space is clean and well-maintained, though I’ll be honest, the décor is pretty basic. But here’s the thing: the windows are huge, so you get tons of natural light, and the neighborhood sounds aren’t overwhelming like they can be in other parts of the city center. I was worried about noise since Mokotowska can get busy, but the evenings were actually quite peaceful. The check-in process was smooth enough, though you might want to coordinate arrival times in advance since it’s not a traditional hotel setup.

What really sold me on this place was how easy it made exploring Warsaw feel. You can walk to the Old Town if you’re feeling ambitious, but honestly, just wandering around Śródmieście kept me busy for days. There’s this little market area about five minutes away where you can grab fresh bread and local produce – way better than hotel breakfast, in my opinion. The tram connections are excellent too, so getting to places like Łazienki Park or even out to Praga district is straightforward. I mean, parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you’re driving (welcome to central Warsaw), but the public transport more than makes up for it. One small thing that bugged me was the WiFi could be spotty in the evenings, probably when everyone in the building was streaming, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, for the price point and that 8.4 rating, this place delivers exactly what it promises – a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Warsaw without any pretense or unnecessary frills.

  Nice little apartment with most amenities. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were all small, but that didn't really take away anything. The air conditioning worked fine, having a freezer is a bonus, and I always like a Nespresso. There were also extra cleaning supplies in the bedroom closet, which was nice.
  
  What could be improved: The wooden blinds are not energy efficient and the sun hits them all day. There is paid parking all around the building, but it stays pretty full most of the time. It would be nice to have soap and shampoo for the shower and at least a small amount of laundry detergent. I couldn't find the entrance at first, pictures would be helpful, or at least explain the first entrance is a gate. Not a great location, but good enough.

  Place is in the Old town area. The center is near. An apartment was clean. We found in it everything what we needed. An owner of it was very polite, explained everything in the clear way.
  
  What could be improved: We stayed in this place on the weekend. So outside people were very loud. We slept with opened window and this noise outside didn't let us to sleep.
