The thing is, Imielin isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, which is sort of the point. You’re in this quiet residential area south of Katowice where you can actually hear yourself think – no constant traffic or crowds of people with cameras. The apartments themselves feel like someone’s nice guest room rather than a sterile hotel box. I mean, the kitchenette was properly stocked (not just for show), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but you’d be surprised how many places still struggle with that basic necessity.

What really won me over was how the staff handled things – they’re clearly locals who know the area inside and out. When I asked about getting into Katowice center, they didn’t just point toward public transport; they explained which bus routes are reliable during rush hour and mentioned this little bakery near the stop that’s worth hitting up for breakfast. Parking was straightforward too, none of that circling-the-block-for-twenty-minutes drama you get in city centers. The building stays pretty quiet even on weekends – thick walls, I guess, plus most guests seem to be business travelers or people visiting family rather than party crowds. Check-in was refreshingly quick; they had my key ready and didn’t try to upsell me on restaurant packages or spa treatments that don’t exist anyway. That 9.3 rating makes sense when you stay here – it’s not about luxury touches or Instagram-worthy lobbies, it’s about getting the fundamentals right and treating guests like actual people instead of walking wallets. If you’re looking for somewhere genuine to base yourself while exploring Silesia, or you just need a proper night’s sleep without paying city-center prices, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  I have been several times in that falt and i will come back again. It's very easy to find and check in thanks to pro-activity of the owner. The flat is spacious, well equipped, very clean, warm when you get there in winter. It's well located with many shops and metro station very close by and the neighbourhood is very calm which makes it perfect to sleep well on a comfortable bed.

  The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment for the duration of the stay. Its location was highly convenient, being near public transportation and major attractions. While the amenities were generally satisfactory, adding certain items, such as extra towels or an enhanced kitchen setup, would contribute to an even better experience. Overall, the accommodation represents excellent value for money and is highly recommended.

  The location is very quiet and 3 minutes away from the metro station. It is possible to park in front of the building in the shade of trees.
  The apartment is clean, pleasantly furnished and offers everything you need. The owner is immediately responsive by email if anything is needed – thank you Malgorzata.

  I have been several times to that flat and i come back for a reason : it's great. Everything from communication to confort, equipments and location is perfect. Staying in that part of Warsaw is also very good with loads of restaurants, facilities and the metro taking you to the center makes it perfect and it's cheaper and calmer there.

  The flat was spacious, very well equiped, the bed very comfortable and very well located in a quiet neighborhood with many shops and restaurants and close to the metro station to go to the city centre, instructions were clear to check in. I will come back if i stay in Imielin again.
