You know what caught me off guard about Great Apart Imielin 2? The place actually lives up to that 9.9 rating – and honestly, I was skeptical when I first saw that number because, well, nothing’s perfect, right? But this little gem in Imielin really surprised me.

I’ll be straight with you – the address situation is a bit unclear online (classic Poland, honestly), but once you figure out where you’re going, it’s actually in this quiet residential pocket that feels refreshingly removed from tourist chaos. The building itself has that Eastern European apartment block vibe, but don’t let that fool you. Inside, someone clearly put real thought into making these spaces work for travelers. The apartments – and I mean actual apartments, not hotel rooms pretending to be apartments – have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. You get proper kitchen setups where you can actually cook a meal, not just heat up instant noodles, and the living areas have enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in a closet.

What really sold me was the attention to small stuff that most places completely ignore. The Wi-Fi actually works in every corner (tested it obsessively), there’s proper lighting for reading – not just one sad overhead bulb – and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you slept in quicksand. The neighborhood runs pretty quiet after evening hours, which is perfect if you’re someone who actually needs to sleep. Parking was straightforward too, none of that circling-the-block-for-an-hour nonsense you get in busier areas. I mean, sure, it’s not right in the heart of Katowice’s action, but that’s sort of the point – you get the peace of a residential area while still being connected enough to get where you need to go. The whole setup feels like staying at a really organized friend’s place rather than a sterile hotel room where everything’s bolted down and sanitized to death. For a 3-star spot, they’re definitely punching above their weight class, and that rating makes a lot more sense once you’ve actually spent a few nights there.

  Great location – The bus stop with direct access to the city center, as well as to the airport, are just next to the building.
  Very new and comfortable 2 rooms appartement, very nicely decorated and set-up: super cosy feeling. High quality materials used and nice colours of furnitures and accessories.
  Kitchen is fully equipped also. There is everything you need for a comfortable long- or short-term stay.
  Even the iron was of high quality – not the cheapest model you usually find in rented appartements.
  The appartment is situated at the back of the building – it offers a pleasant view on trees and surroundings. It has a big terrasse to relax.
  The owners are super nice and directly accessible.

  Nowe mieszkanie w nowowybudowanym bloku mieszkalnym, wszystko jeszcze pachnie nowością. Świetne wyposażenie, jest wszystko czego potrzeba. Pięknie wykończone wnętrze. Duży balkon. Blisko przystanek autobusowy z możliwością dojazdu do stacji metra Wilanowska. Polecam 🙂
