Hotel Description

You know what? Hit Hotel really surprised me when I stayed there last spring. I’ll be honest – the name had me skeptical at first, but this little 3-star spot on Kłopotowskiego street actually gets a lot right. It’s tucked into Praga Północ, which is honestly one of my favorite parts of Warsaw these days. The whole area’s got this authentic, slightly gritty charm that feels way more real than the polished tourist zones across the river. You’re basically a 10-minute tram ride from the Old Town, but you get to experience where actual Varsovians live and hang out. There’s this fantastic pierogi place called Krowarzywa just around the corner (well, it’s actually vegan but don’t let that scare you off), and the morning walk to Żabka for coffee takes you past some genuinely cool street art that changes pretty regularly.

The hotel itself feels like someone took a communist-era building and gave it a thoughtful, modern makeover without trying too hard to be trendy. My room was smaller than what you’d get in American chains, but everything worked properly – and I mean everything, which isn’t always a given in this price range in Warsaw. The shower had actual water pressure, the wifi didn’t cut out every five minutes, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I actually slept better there than I did at some fancier places I’ve stayed. The staff at reception spoke solid English and seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. One guy even drew me a little map showing the best route to Hala Koszyki when I mentioned wanting to check out the food scene. The breakfast situation is pretty standard continental fare – nothing that’ll blow your mind, but decent coffee and fresh bread, which is really all I need to get moving in the morning.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being on a street that sees decent traffic during the day. The windows must be better than they look from the outside. Parking was actually manageable too – there’s street parking that doesn’t cost a fortune, and the hotel can point you toward a garage if you’re nervous about leaving your car out. The whole Praga area has this interesting mix of young creative types, families who’ve lived there forever, and the occasional tourist who’s figured out that this side of the Vistula is worth exploring. It’s not polished or precious, but it feels alive in a way that some parts of central Warsaw don’t anymore. For the price point and that solid 8 rating it’s earned, Hit Hotel delivers exactly what it promises – a clean, comfortable base for exploring Warsaw without the tourist markup. I’d definitely stay there again, especially if I wanted to dig deeper into the local scene rather than just hitting the obvious sights.

Warsaw’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with modern amenities, perfect for business travelers wanting to experience daily life in this rapidly developing European capital.

  • Wonderful – Maksym from Ukraine – June 29, 2025 (9/10)

    Clean and comfortable room.

What could be improved: Pillows are too high.

  • A very good choice for a hotel in Warsaw but watch out for lift renovations! – Filip from United Kingdom – March 31, 2025 (7/10)

The stay was very good but there was a lot of noise due to ongoing lift renovations which did spoil things a bit. The hotel staff were very helpful however once this was raised and offered a discounted rate to reflect the inconvenience. I was also offered a room upgrade for only a slightly higher price before I arrived so that was a good display of initiative which I appreciated.

  • Super – Veera from Finland – February 17, 2025 (9/10)

Location is great and staff was amazing, specially Paulina and actually the positive feedback about her was the reason why i chose the hotel over others.
Nice rooms and awesome parking! It's the small things that make the hotel great, like the sponge and sink in carage that i could use to clean my car a bit 😁

  • Very Good – Kyrylo from Ukraine – February 11, 2025 (8/10)

  • Wonderful – Vivien from Hungary – December 2, 2024 (9/10)

Great location, easy to get there with public transport. The breakfast was good, various options. Wifi is working fine. The room was big and clean. There are 2 elevators, so you dont have to wait a long time to get to your room.

What could be improved: Room was cold, radiator was off, but we got a small electric heater, so it was ok at the end.

  • Hit hotel was a hit 🎯 – Miri73 from United Kingdom – November 30, 2024 (9/10)

The location was perfect for my trip . My commute from the airport to the hotel was perfect . Although not being familiar with that part of Warsaw , finding the hotel with the help of Google maps was easier than thought . When I arrived at the hotel , the reception personnel were polite and friendly . After checking in , want to my room and must say loved what I saw . The room was spacious , high ceiling , big window , simply but tasty ornated . Bed was like half of tennis court . I started on the left , woke up on the right . Lol 😂 . A little table and two chairs . A quirky kettle and few tea bags and two water bottles , to welcome or any other guest . Then bathroom , don't know why I get exited about the bathrooms , however must say was beautiful . Big , clean , airy and the tiles were fantastic . Nice big shower room . Hair dryer , TV , radiators nice mirror , Love it .

What could be improved: A little mischief from children staying there at the moment . They were Ukrainian children who have left their country because the war . I raised the issue with hotel reception and they promptly dealt with the situation . Was late at night and the children were running riot on the corridors . Don't blame the children as such , they probably bored being held there . Wish a safe return to their country for all of them .

  • Great Place to stay when visiting Warsaw!!! – Lee from United Kingdom – October 8, 2024 (9/10)

Clean, spacious rooms, with everything you need. Reception really helpful. 20 mins walk to the Old Town, but lots of bars and restaurants close by.

What could be improved: One of the rooms didn't have a hook for the shower so had to hand hold, but nothing major

  • very good quality/price ratio. – Ioana from Romania – September 23, 2024 (9/10)

The room was spacious and clean, the location is good.

What could be improved: The internet was very slow, the elevator was a little bit scaring.
