Overview
You know what? Hotel Arche Geologiczna is one of those places that completely surprised me. I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Geologiczna Street, I was worried I’d be stuck in some industrial wasteland, but actually the Włochy district turned out to be this quiet residential area that feels refreshingly normal after dealing with Warsaw’s tourist crowds. The hotel itself sits in what looks like a converted apartment building, and while it’s definitely a 3-star place, they’ve done something right here because that 8.7 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen.
The moment you walk in, there’s this unexpectedly cozy lobby that doesn’t try too hard – think clean lines, decent lighting, and staff who actually seem to know what they’re doing. My check-in was smooth (I mean, it was literally three minutes), and the woman at reception gave me genuinely helpful tips about getting into the city center. Speaking of which, you’re about a 15-20 minute tram ride from the main attractions, but honestly? That’s not a bad thing. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel with local cafes and a Żabka on practically every corner – perfect for grabbing snacks or that morning coffee when the hotel breakfast doesn’t quite hit the spot. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – nothing fancy, but everything works. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed (though the pillows are a bit soft if you’re into firmer support), and decent WiFi that actually handled my video calls without cutting out.
What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone’s paying attention. The windows have proper blackout curtains – and trust me, if you’re dealing with jet lag, you’ll appreciate being able to sleep past sunrise. It’s also surprisingly quiet for being in a city; I barely heard any street noise, though I did get the occasional sound from neighboring rooms (the walls aren’t exactly thick). Parking was easy enough if you’re driving, though I’d recommend asking about spots when you book because it’s not unlimited. The breakfast is pretty standard continental fare, but they had real butter and the coffee was actually drinkable, which puts them ahead of some places I’ve stayed that charge twice as much. One thing to note – the elevator is tiny, so if you’re traveling with huge suitcases, you might be taking the stairs. Overall though, Hotel Arche Geologiczna feels like staying at a well-run local spot where the focus is on getting the basics right rather than impressing you with flashy amenities you’ll never use.

Hotel really good! perfect location ! AMAZING
Wonderful
The room was so spacious and very gorgeous. Everything was really nice.
What could be improved: The kettle in the room was extremely dirty, and there was always a horrible smell in the bathroom. I tried to air the bathroom out but the smell would just not budge.
If you have a small kitchen corner I would recommendto add 2 plates and 2 spoons
The hotel is new and clean, I had one night to sleep just after my flight and it was close to the airport. The location is good and the room itself is big and cozy
What could be improved: Everything was good and worthy the cost
