The moment you walk in, there’s this unexpectedly cozy lobby that doesn’t try too hard – think clean lines, decent lighting, and staff who actually seem to know what they’re doing. My check-in was smooth (I mean, it was literally three minutes), and the woman at reception gave me genuinely helpful tips about getting into the city center. Speaking of which, you’re about a 15-20 minute tram ride from the main attractions, but honestly? That’s not a bad thing. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel with local cafes and a Żabka on practically every corner – perfect for grabbing snacks or that morning coffee when the hotel breakfast doesn’t quite hit the spot. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – nothing fancy, but everything works. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed (though the pillows are a bit soft if you’re into firmer support), and decent WiFi that actually handled my video calls without cutting out.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone’s paying attention. The windows have proper blackout curtains – and trust me, if you’re dealing with jet lag, you’ll appreciate being able to sleep past sunrise. It’s also surprisingly quiet for being in a city; I barely heard any street noise, though I did get the occasional sound from neighboring rooms (the walls aren’t exactly thick). Parking was easy enough if you’re driving, though I’d recommend asking about spots when you book because it’s not unlimited. The breakfast is pretty standard continental fare, but they had real butter and the coffee was actually drinkable, which puts them ahead of some places I’ve stayed that charge twice as much.
