Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Hotel Arkadia Royal on a quiet street in Wawer, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this three-star property. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries come from places that don’t try too hard to impress. The building has this understated charm — nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming. What immediately caught my attention was how easy it was to find parking right at the hotel, which anyone who’s driven through Warsaw will tell you is practically a miracle.
The Wawer Advantage
Here’s something most tourists don’t realize — staying in Wawer actually gives you the best of both worlds. You’re technically still in Warsaw, but it feels like you’ve escaped to a residential neighborhood where locals actually live. I mean, you can walk to the Vistula riverbank in about ten minutes, and there’s this lovely park area that’s perfect for morning runs. The couples who stay here seem to get it — they consistently rate the location highly, and I can see why. It’s peaceful without being isolated, and you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds that swarm the Old Town hotels.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed. The bed was actually quite good, and the bathroom had decent water pressure (trust me, these details matter after a long day of sightseeing). What struck me most was how quiet everything was — you’d never guess you were still within Warsaw’s city limits.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
Honestly, the breakfast here surprised me in the best way. They’ve got this buffet setup that covers all the bases — continental options, full English breakfast, vegetarian choices, even gluten-free items. I watched the staff actually pay attention to keeping everything fresh and well-stocked, which tells you something about how they run the place. The restaurant area has big windows that let in plenty of morning light, and there’s usually a good mix of business travelers and couples enjoying a leisurely start to their day.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
There’s something to be said for a place that attracts repeat visitors, and Hotel Arkadia Royal definitely has that going for it. I think it comes down to reliability — you know exactly what you’re getting, and it’s consistently good. The staff seems to recognize returning guests, which creates this nice, almost family-run atmosphere even though it’s clearly a professional operation. For travelers who want a solid base in Warsaw without paying Old Town prices, this place just makes sense. Plus, that free parking situation? In a city where hotel parking can cost as much as your room, that’s a pretty significant bonus.

Exceptional
The staff were very friendly, the location is great, near the bus station. The spa was nice, just you could feel too much chlorine and our eyes were burning from it, otherwise it was great. The breakfast was really good and so was the dinner (we had there once).
Definitely recommend
The breakfast was very good, one of the best i’ve ever had. The spa centre was also great, except that the steam room didn’t work. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend for short stay.
Wonderful
the wellness area was available until 11 pm and every time we arrived there it was just the two of us, breakfast was excellent, great choice
Very Good
great breakfast, food in general was good value
What could be improved: nothing really
Very Good
Had a good night sleep as it was quiet. Food from a la carte menu was really good.
What could be improved: The breakfast selection was quite large but was not fascinated by the food quality.
I recommend staying for a shorter period of time.
The price-quality ratio is very good. I really liked the simplicity of the hotel.
What could be improved: The sauna only took a while to warm up, but it didn't cause any inconvenience. It's just a pity that it was dark in one of the saunas.
