I also loved that they provide real bathrobes – thick, hotel-quality ones that you sort of want to accidentally pack in your suitcase.

The service here strikes that perfect balance between attentive and not hovering. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling attempts, and the staff actually seems to know the area well enough to give you real recommendations rather than just pointing you toward the tourist traps. I asked about quieter restaurants nearby and got some genuinely good suggestions that felt like local secrets. Speaking of quiet – the soundproofing is excellent, which matters more than people think when you’re trying to actually rest in a city center location. Even on weekend nights, you’re not dealing with street noise or hearing your neighbors’ conversations through paper-thin walls. The housekeeping team is also incredibly thorough without being intrusive – they somehow manage to refresh everything perfectly while making it feel like they were never there.   This is a gorgeous old-style hotel with all the modern conveniences. Our room was spacious and beautiful and the location is perfect for Old Town locations. Parking is on site and very convenient. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful too — the elevator was out in the wing where we were staying, so they carried our luggage to our room for us. Would absolutely stay here again. Can’t review the breakfast, as we didn’t try it.
