Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Hetman on Ks. Kłopotowskiego street, you immediately get that “local gem” feeling — this isn’t some cookie-cutter chain property trying to impress tourists. The three-star hotel sits quietly in the Praga Północ district, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks haven’t caught onto yet, even though locals clearly know what’s up. The property maintains an authentic character that appeals to travelers seeking genuine Warsaw experiences rather than standardized hotel amenities.
The Praga Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in Warsaw’s most authentic neighborhood without sacrificing convenience. Praga Północ has this raw, artistic energy that the more polished parts of the city sometimes lack. You know what’s really telling? Couples consistently rate this spot 9.1 out of 10, and I get why. There’s something romantic about wandering these streets in the evening, discovering little cafés and galleries that feel genuinely local. Plus, you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds that swarm around the Old Town, but you can still get there easily when you want to. The neighborhood offers an ideal balance between authentic local culture and accessibility to major attractions.
Your Room and Comfort
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged without any unnecessary frills. What impressed me was the attention to detail; everything worked properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case. The staff clearly takes pride in maintaining the property, and it shows in those small touches that make a difference after a long day of exploring the city. Each room is designed with practicality and guest comfort as the primary focus.
Morning Fuel
The buffet breakfast deserves a mention because it actually feels Polish rather than that generic continental spread you get everywhere. I mean, sure, there are the usual suspects, but they also include local specialties that give you a proper start to the day. The restaurant area has this cozy, neighborhood feel where you might find yourself chatting with other guests — something that rarely happens at bigger hotels. And there’s parking right at the hotel, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Warsaw by car will appreciate. The dining experience reflects the hotel’s commitment to authentic local hospitality.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Hotel Hetman apart is the repeat guest factor — people genuinely come back here, and that tells you everything you need to know. It’s not trying to be something it’s not; instead, it’s perfected being exactly what it is: a reliable, well-located base for exploring Warsaw. The combination of that fantastic location rating, the authentic Praga neighborhood vibe, and the kind of consistent service that builds loyalty makes this place special. You’ll leave feeling like you experienced the real Warsaw, not just the tourist version of it. This hotel represents the best of what a three-star property can offer to discerning travelers.
Apartments in Warsaw provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional culinary specialties.

Guest Reviews
Great stay, great location
Perfect location if you are attending an event at the stadium (within walking distance even if you are tired). Multiple public transit stops around, and easy connection to the train going to the airport. Both the Old Town and the zoo can be reached in 5-6 mins by tram. The room was bigger than expected, airconditioned, and cleaned daily. The bed was very soft and comfortable with convenient outlets behind the nightstands. The staff were friendly and helpful, they let us check in few hours early. There are many minimarkets and food options around, some open until 11pm. We tried the restaurant across from the hotel, which had a tasty lunch menu.
What could be improved: The pillows were very soft and smooshable, which some people might not find comfortable.
It was nice, first time in Warsaw. The hotel was very good.
Peacfull location but not to far from centar

What could be improved: Not fresh but what you would expect for the price. Would use service again.
Excellent
The hotel is in a very good location, 2 minutes away from the metro, or bus and tram stations.
The center is 15 minutes avay by public transport
Shops and fast food are just around the corner.
The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, and spacious enough.
We were three of us, the room had 2 single beds and a sofa bed, which was surprisingly very comfortable.
Breakfast starts at 6.30 is continental buffet, there is something for everyone.
You park your car in their garage.
We were with a van, public parking in front of the hotel, free during the weekend.
We only stayed at the hotel for 1 night, but we could have stayed a few more days.
I definitely recommend
