Sure, it’s not in the heart of Old Town, but here’s the thing – you’re maybe 20 minutes from the city center when traffic’s reasonable, and literally minutes from your terminal. I’ve stayed at those “airport hotels” that are still a shuttle ride away, so this proximity is refreshing. Plus, there’s something to be said for that 8.5 rating – it doesn’t happen by accident. The staff actually seems to care, which is rarer than it should be these days. Check-in was smooth (I arrived around 2 PM on a Tuesday), and the front desk clerk gave me genuine recommendations for dinner, not just the usual tourist traps.

The rooms themselves feel properly appointed – good lighting for working, decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and the bed situation is spot-on. I’m particular about mattresses, and this one hit that sweet spot between firm and comfortable. The bathroom’s modern without being sterile, and honestly, the water pressure was better than my last three city center hotels combined. What I really appreciated were the small touches: proper blackout curtains (crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag), enough electrical outlets, and a workspace that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The neighborhood isn’t much to write home about – it’s pretty industrial around there – but you’re not staying here for the local café scene anyway. You’re here because you need reliable, comfortable accommodation that won’t stress you out before or after flights, and Hotel Lord delivers on that promise without any drama.

  Very nice and kind staff – thank you for arranging late check-out that I asked for (60 PLN). Very good public transport connection to the PGE stadium – just take a tram in front of the hotel and it takes about 30mins. Single room quite spacious for 1 person (but small bathroom), there is a desk with chair, mirror, open closet and kettle. Complimentary water bottle and some small biscuits. I did not take breakfast but you can pay for it on spot if you change your mind. A/C and wifi worked well in my room. Windows can be fully opened, which is rare and appreciated.
