Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Hotel MDM City Centre, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes these mid-range spots absolutely nail it, and this one’s a perfect example. The lobby hit me right away with this surprisingly modern vibe – clean lines, decent lighting, none of that tired corporate hotel feel you get at some chains.

What really got my attention was how the staff actually seemed to care. I mean, check-in was smooth, sure, but the guy at the front desk took thirty seconds to tell me about a good coffee spot around the corner that locals use. That’s the kind of thing that tells you a place gets it. The rooms are honestly better than you’d expect for the price point – nothing fancy, but everything works properly and feels fresh. The bed was actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with throw pillows or weird decorative nonsense. Just a solid, clean space where you can spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

Here’s what really surprised me though – that 9.0 rating isn’t just inflated review scores. The location is genuinely smart if you want to be in the thick of things without paying downtown premium prices. You’re close enough to walk to the main action, but far enough that you’re not dealing with street noise at 2 AM. Parking was way easier than I expected too, which honestly saved me a headache. The breakfast situation is pretty decent – nothing Instagram-worthy, but proper coffee and actual food instead of just pastries and sadness. I noticed they keep things stocked even during the late morning rush, which shows they’re paying attention to details. The whole place just feels like someone’s actually managing it instead of letting it coast. Would I stay here again? Yeah, definitely. It’s one of those spots that does the basics really well without trying to be something it’s not.

  Me and my friend liked completely everything. Warm, clean, perfect location, 24/7 reception. Spacious room for two people, who are not a couple, so privacy. Spacious bathroom, a lot of hooks to hang clothes and towels. Silent room. Will return for sure

  The hotel was super cool and clean. The bed and the pillow were comfortable and high quality. The room was very large but only the shower area should be a little bit larger cause when you are having a shower it is too hard to move. And also the hair dryer should be better.
  But generally I recommend that hotel to everyone

  Pleasant staff and efficient check in process. Property is ideally situated close to all busy transport links, buses, trams and an abundance of taxis. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

  I stayed in a deluxe single for 7 days since no regular single rooms were available. I would choose a regular single room as the price difference is not justified (70 vs 110 euros/night). The room was clean, big enough for several people. Bathroom was very clean, the cleaning lady would come daily and make up the rooms. You get 2 free water bottles each day. This was a nice touch.

  Perfect location (not far from different museums, parks, embassies district), a lot of different restaurants up close, beautiful interiour style, funny and sweet images on walls in corridors, very clean room and bathroom, nice and friendly personal, great bufet breakfast, no any noises from other rooms.

  Good location. Family room with separate rooms and separate beds for children, which is a big plus! Right next to the hotel you can eat delicious food. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
