Hotel Description

You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of three-star places in Warsaw, and Hotel Reytan actually gets it right in ways that surprised me. It’s tucked away on this quiet street in Mokotów – honestly, when the taxi dropped me off, I wasn’t sure we were in the right spot because it feels so residential and peaceful. But that’s exactly what makes it work. You’re maybe fifteen minutes by tram to the Old Town (the 4 or 18 lines run pretty regularly), but at night you’re not dealing with all the noise from Nowy Świat or the castle area. The building itself has this understated charm – I mean, it’s not going to wow you from the outside, but once you’re in, there’s something really comfortable about the whole setup.

The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – clean lines, decent space, and honestly better soundproofing than I expected. I was on the third floor facing the courtyard, and it was genuinely quiet even on Friday night. The beds are actually good (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and they’ve got this nice touch where the lighting actually works for reading, not just ambiance. What really stood out was the breakfast situation – they do this spread that feels more like what a local family might put together rather than the usual hotel buffet stuff. Fresh bread from somewhere nearby, real butter, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since 6 AM. The staff, well, they’re the kind of people who remember your name after the first day and can tell you which bus to take to get to Łazienki Park without pulling out a map.

I’ll be honest – if you’re looking for a spa or a rooftop bar, this isn’t your place. But if you want somewhere that feels like a good base for actually exploring Warsaw without breaking the bank, Hotel Reytan hits that sweet spot. The Mokotów area grows on you too – there’s this great little market on Puławska Street about a ten-minute walk away, and some really solid restaurants that tourists don’t usually find. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole neighborhood just feels safe and walkable, even late at night. I ended up extending my stay by two days partly because I didn’t want to deal with moving, but mostly because I genuinely liked coming back there each evening. Sometimes the best hotels are the ones that just get out of your way and let you enjoy the city – and that’s exactly what this place does.

Exploring Warsaw offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Poland’s resilient capital, from its meticulously reconstructed Old Town to its modern skyline and rich cultural heritage.

It's a nice hotel for a good price. Staff is pleasant and welcoming.

  • Clean and nice room – Oksana from Poland – August 3, 2025 (8/10)

The room was cozy and clean. Staff were helpful as well. It was a good experience.

What could be improved: The only thing was the budget:) The room was quite expensive for such hotel.

  • Wonderful – Rita from Belgium – August 3, 2025 (9/10)

Very comfy place at a great location, we really enjoyed our short stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful

What could be improved: At first, ventilation in the bathroom was a bit smelly but it went away after a few hours

  • Exceptional – Anna from Moldova – August 2, 2025 (10/10)

  • Very Good – Andy from United Kingdom – July 31, 2025 (8/10)

    excellent breakfast. Very secure parking

  • Exceptional – Alina from Ukraine – July 28, 2025 (10/10)

very comfortable room, good breakfast, silence at night – my fourth stay at retain

  • Great choice! – Trotska from Ukraine – July 18, 2025 (10/10)

Room had everything you need. And breakfasts are awesome – versatile meals for any preferences.

What could be improved: Quite small, but not critical. The painting of Warsaw on the wall spoils the room design – quite old fashioned.

  • Good for a short stay – Ilya from Estonia – July 7, 2025 (8/10)

Big and well equipped rooms, location nearby tram station, which could get you to city center in ~20 mins. Good breakfast.

What could be improved: We arrived on Saturday and parking outside on the street was free of charge until our leave on Monday. Staff never informed about it and we paid for parking inside the hotel, which is quite expensive. Staff could be more helpful and notify about such free parking options around. A/C is quite noisy, but was working well. Overall hotel is not very new and we were expecting a better experience for such price, but is OK for a short stay.

  • Would like to have stayed longer, next time😊 – Graeme from Australia – July 4, 2025 (9/10)

All was really nice and clean. We had air conditioning, big room, bottled water, and simply all needed. Simple but good breakfasts
