You know what caught me off guard about Hoża 35? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy stuff, but somehow everything just works. I mean, when you’re walking down this tree-lined street in what’s honestly one of Warsaw’s most understated neighborhoods, you almost miss it – which is actually kind of perfect if you’re not into those giant hotel signs screaming for attention.

The whole Homeprime setup here feels more like staying at a really well-organized friend’s place than a typical hotel. They’ve got this 4-star rating, and while I wouldn’t say it’s luxury luxury, it hits that sweet spot where you feel comfortable without paying through the nose for marble everything. The rooms have this clean, minimalist thing going on – think Scandinavian vibes but warmer. Actually, the lighting is what really got me; they’ve managed to avoid those harsh hotel bulbs that make you look dead in the bathroom mirror. The beds are properly comfortable too, not those rock-hard mattresses some European places seem to think are good for your back.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re basically in the heart of the city. Hoża street itself isn’t one of those main drags with trams rattling by every five minutes, so you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open if you want some fresh air. The neighborhood’s got character – there’s this great little café about two blocks down where locals actually hang out (not just tourists), and you’re walking distance to some seriously good restaurants that don’t have English menus plastered outside. I stumbled across this tiny wine bar nearby that I never would’ve found if I’d been staying in one of those big chain places near the palace. The 7.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but there’s something refreshing about a place that just does the basics really, really well. Check-in was smooth, the staff actually knew the area when I asked about getting around, and honestly? Sometimes that’s worth more than a fancy lobby you walk through once.

  It was clean. The beds were good. Lots of restaurants nearby. Bakery and small shop close as well. Not too far from transit. Old Town was not too far to walk.

  The apartment is easily accessible and the communication with the host is super quick and efficient. The property is located in the heart of Warsaw, walking distance to many cafes and restaurants, as well as metro, tram, bus. I love the high ceilings and how spacious the apartment is. The most impressive is bathroom which is big and nicely renovated. Bedrooms have all you need too, towels, nice blankets, comfortable mattresses (both beds have double mattress), working heating and proper hot water. The living room area is big enough even if for a group of people. Despite the location, there is no noise in the apartment, which is great.
