Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Warsaw over the years, and Hoża 62 really gets it right. The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re actually living in the city rather than just visiting it. Hoża Street itself is this lovely tree-lined stretch that feels residential but you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture and Science – though honestly, you’ll probably find yourself heading toward Nowy Świat more often since that’s where all the good cafes and evening action happens. The apartment sits right in Śródmieście, which I mean, it’s the heart of everything without being touristy-crazy like some parts of the Old Town can get.
The building has that classic Warsaw charm – you know, the kind that survived everything this city’s been through. When I first walked in, I was struck by how they’ve managed to keep the original character while making everything feel fresh and comfortable. The apartment itself is spacious in a way that most European city stays just aren’t, and there’s this attention to detail that you notice in small moments – like actually having enough outlets near the bed (revolutionary concept, right?) and a kitchen that’s set up for people who might want to grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs and cook something real. The windows are properly soundproofed too, which matters because Warsaw can get lively, especially on weekends when people are walking back from the bars on Mazowiecka.
What really sold me on this place was how it strikes this balance between being polished and feeling authentic. The neighborhood gives you that lived-in Warsaw experience – you’ll hear Polish conversations drifting up from the courtyard in the mornings, smell coffee and pastries from the local bakery, and honestly, you’ll probably start recognizing the same faces walking their dogs or heading to work. I stayed here during both a busy conference week and a quieter winter visit, and it worked perfectly for both. The staff actually knows the area – not just the obvious tourist spots but where to find a good pierogi at 10 PM or which tram line gets you to Wilanów without three transfers. It’s that kind of local knowledge that makes the difference between a good stay and one where you feel like you’ve actually discovered something. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but it absolutely nails what it’s going for.
Hotel in Warsaw booking should be done early, especially during major cultural festivals when the city hosts internationally significant music and arts events.

Lovely place in Warsaw. – Joaquin from United Kingdom – August 16, 2024 (10/10)
The place was clean and smart. The location is excellent. Full of bars and restaurants, near to the city center. Next time I'll be in Warsaw, I'll choose this place for sure.
Everything was perfect. I will comeback – Jonas from Lithuania – January 4, 2024 (10/10)
Had an amazing stay. The bed was magnificent, the TV was very nice.
What could be improved: The only thing missing is the kitchen equipment. Could add a cutting board and a pan lid.A great stay! – Pawel from United Kingdom – June 5, 2023 (9/10)
Very well built, good location, clean, easy access, newly redone. Nice to have a balcony as well.
What could be improved: The lock on the door needs oiling as the key was hard to turn and the balcony door was a bit hard to close. When these are the only issues you can think of it means the flat is almost flawlessBad – Λουκάκη from Greece – March 23, 2024 (1/10)
The location
What could be improved: We hadn't enough towels for 3 persons (we had 2 small and 1 big ONLY) and also we hadn’t sheets and pillow case for the 3rd person (he would sleep on the sofa).
We talkd with Eweline (host) and she told us that the cleaning service would delivered us towels and sheets…..but never happend!
Also, the building had constructions, so it was so noisy and dirty.
We are very sorry because we were very satisfied with the room beside this incident that left us disappointed.During our stay there was some serious construction works going on in the building, mainly in the staircase but also in – Nils from Germany – December 12, 2023 (3/10)
The location is great!
What could be improved: – Apartment was only 80% clean when we got there (e.g. dirt next to the bed, no proper cleaning up there)
– Balcony door does not close as it should i.e. bit of cold draft in winter
– No Kitchen towel
– No Paper towels
– No Scissors
– Sink in the bathroom does not work properly
– Bit of mold on shower curtain
– Not sure if the joints in the bathroom have ever been cleaned
– No cutting board in the kitchen
– No bowl for soap in the bathroom
– No salt and rinse aid in dishwasher
– Unstable WiFiExceptional – Monika from Poland – July 16, 2025 (10/10)
Polecam!!
