You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from the Humblebee Nest Muranów when I first walked up to the building on Schillera Street, but this little 3-star spot actually surprised me. The name’s a bit quirky – honestly, I kept forgetting it and just called it “the bee place” – but there’s something genuinely charming about how they’ve set things up here in Śródmieście. The location is pretty solid if you want to be in the thick of things without paying Old Town prices. You’re basically a ten-minute walk from the Warsaw Uprising Museum (which, trust me, you should absolutely visit), and there’s this great little pierogi place called Zapiecek just around the corner that locals actually go to, not just tourists.

The rooms are… well, they’re what you’d expect from a 3-star, but they’ve clearly put some thought into the details. I mean, the bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and the bathroom had decent water pressure – something you can’t always count on in Warsaw’s older buildings. The walls are a bit thin though, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs. I could hear my neighbors having what sounded like a very animated conversation about football around 11 PM, but honestly, it wasn’t terrible. The staff at reception spoke solid English and were actually helpful when I asked about getting to Wilanów Palace (take the bus, not the metro – it’s way easier). Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises about tourist taxes or anything like that.

What I really appreciated was how they handled the little things. The WiFi actually worked throughout the building – even in the elevator, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed. There’s a small breakfast area that gets decent morning light, and while it’s not going to blow your mind, the coffee was strong and they had real butter, not those weird little packets. The neighborhood itself is pretty authentic Warsaw – you’ve got apartment buildings where actual people live, a few cafes that open early for the work crowd, and it’s quiet enough at night that you can sleep with the windows open in summer. Parking can be a bit of a hunt if you’re driving, but honestly, you don’t really need a car here anyway. The tram stop on Andersa is maybe a five-minute walk, and from there you can get pretty much anywhere in the city. For the price point and that 7.7 rating, I get it – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid, unpretentious, and the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than in some generic hotel bubble.

  The location and the price for this apartment is good.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is located in the basement. It was very hot in the summer when we were there. The first night we slept without fans was terrible; I would have paid more for better living conditions. We couldn’t stay inside because of the heat, and it was a bad experience overall. Someone put a damp mop in the wardrobe, which caused it to smell extremely bad. After we requested fans, it was slightly better, but it was still hot with temperatures over 30 degrees outside. We were there for a vacation for 8 days. They only provided toilet paper for the first 2 days and no hand soap or detergent. Instead of trying to save a little money, the hosts should provide small essentials like these to avoid making guests buy them. We bought and used a little, leaving the rest when we left. It could have been a better experience if we had been provided with some basic necessities.

  Good location. We managed to find parking slot on Sunday. Good TV for whoever is interested.
  
  What could be improved: The lift is in the basement so there's no window view. Wasn't very clean. Could do with more space…when sofa is extended difficult to pass. Shower cabin isn't for tall people.

  Lokalizacja super, blisko do metra, Starego Miasta, sklepów, ogrodów. Czysto, a to jest bardzo ważne. Szybki i bardzo sprawny kontakt z wynajmującymi. Cisza,spokój mimo tego że obok kursują tramwaje.
  
  What could be improved: Nie wydaje mi się że można tu mówić o tym że coś nam się nie podobało, jedynie brak ociekaczki na naczynia był trochę kłopotliwy oraz woda pryskająca spod prysznica na pralkę i pod nią podczas kąpieli.

  Relativt nyoppusset og veldig rent. delikat. Hadde det meste vi trengte av fasiliteter. Kort gangavstand til gamlebyen, kiosk og offentlig transport.
  
  What could be improved: Leiligheten er en brannfelle i kjelleren. Det er ingen nødutgang, og vinduene høyt oppe på veggen er med gitter. Ingen brannvarsler eller brannslukkingsutstyr, og jeg tror den er ulovlig uten at jeg kjenner polsk regelverk. Wifi slo seg av og på utenfor vår kontroll. Sofaen og dusjen kunne trenge en fiks.
  Siden de har blandet bilder av to leiligheter, så jeg for meg at det var både et soverom og hems. Det var det ikke. Vi bodde i B, som hadde soverom men ikke hems. Så vidt vi kunne se var det heller ingen ventilasjon annet enn de to små vinduene høyt oppe på veggen. De slapp inn små fluer som beit, og vi er rødprikkete etter oppholdet.

  Très facilement nous avons trouvés les clés du logement par contre un peu plus de mal pour trouver le bon bâtiment et notre location.

  What could be improved: Nous étions 4 adultes mais seulement le canapé et une chaise pour s'assoir autour d' une table ronde… il manque un tabouret pliable !!! Mon fils dormait avec sa soeur et ils n' avaient qu' une couette d' 1 place pas asses…
