Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Industrial 9th Floor” in the name, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this Warsaw apartment. But you know what? It actually works really well. The place sits right on Krochmalna Street in Wola, and while the building itself has that converted warehouse vibe (hence the “industrial” part), the apartment is surprisingly comfortable and well-thought-out. The elevator ride up to the ninth floor gives you a moment to appreciate that you’re staying somewhere with character – not your typical cookie-cutter hotel room. Once you’re inside, the space feels bigger than you’d expect, and honestly, the industrial touches like exposed brick and metal fixtures give it personality without feeling cold or unwelcoming.

The real winner here is that balcony and the views it offers. I mean, you’re nine floors up in central Warsaw, so you get this great perspective over the city that changes throughout the day. In the morning, you can watch the neighborhood wake up with your coffee – Wola’s got this nice mix of locals heading to work and the occasional tourist figuring out the tram system. The area around Krochmalna is pretty authentic Warsaw, not overly touristy, which I appreciated. You’ve got decent restaurants within walking distance (there’s this solid pierogi place about three blocks down that locals actually go to), and the tram connections are genuinely useful – you can get to the Old Town or central areas without much hassle. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but that’s pretty standard for this part of the city.

What surprised me most was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re in a fairly central location. The building seems well-insulated, and being on the ninth floor means you’re above most of the street noise. The apartment itself has everything you actually need – the kitchen’s functional if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka down the street, the Wi-Fi works well (important for me since I was working remotely part of the time), and the bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that “slept in a strange place” feeling. The check-in process was straightforward – they send you codes and instructions that actually make sense, which isn’t always the case with apartment rentals. I’d say the 8.4 rating feels about right; it’s not luxury, but it’s solid, authentic, and the location gives you a real feel for Warsaw without being stuck in some sterile hotel district. If you’re looking for something with character that won’t break the bank and puts you in an actual neighborhood rather than tourist central, this place delivers on that promise.

  A 15 minutes walk from the central railway station, the condo is located near a small park, there are several caferetias and restaurants nearby. There is a grocery store in the same building and another one right on the corner. The flat is small but very cozy, clean and taken care of so it has everything for a comfortable stay.

  Nice small apartment with nice city views. Reasonably close to old town, about 20min walk, and to Centrum, about 15-20 min walk. Nice area, and, although in an area with a lot of apartments, it felt very spacious. Many options for meals nearby from low price restaurants to Zabka's everywhere. Also close to a main market facility. Apartment very secure with guarded and locked entrances.
  
  What could be improved: Advertised with a balcony, in reality 2 doors that opened to a 9 story drop. (with safety rail of course. Not really an issue but with the superb weather in Warsaw for our 4 days sitting on a balcony would have been nice. The bedroom is tiny and only just fits the bed in, a little stuffy as windows generally have to closed at night unless you can sleep with a lot of city noise.

  What could be improved: No balcony. Much too hot inside, impossible to sleep, noise from the street if windows open. The cartons don’t block the sunlight, so it’s too much light to sleep since early morning. We didn’t sleep well for the 2 nights we spent in this apartment. Some elements need to be cleaned/fixed.

  What could be improved: There is no balcony, very noisy, some things are outdated, it would be maybe good to do deep cleaning of the apartment.

  It was clean and in good location. Though the photos are a bit misleading.
  
  What could be improved: There was no air conditioning and despite the days I was there were particularly hot, about 25 degrees Celsius, it was becoming hot. There was a ventilator provided but it did not help in any particular way. The apartment is located in a Soviet style panel block and the industrial in the title is just that it was not well painted during the renovation. The photographer did a great job. And finally the check-in was awful as the instructions to find the key locker were so vague I could not find it for more than 20 minutes all during raining. Called the number provided and they only sent me the photo I already had. So it was awful non helpful and annoying check in. If you do not stumble upon the back side of the building you would experience this for sure too.
