Hotel Description
You know what really caught me off guard about KASKADY? The name made me think it’d be some sleek, sterile place, but honestly, it’s got this perfect balance between modern comfort and actually feeling like home. I mean, when you’re staying somewhere that calls itself a “modern apartment,” you’re usually bracing for that whole minimalist-to-the-point-of-uncomfortable vibe, but this place gets it right.
The location is genuinely solid – and I’m not just throwing around that “close to the center” phrase they love using. You can actually walk to most of the good stuff without that tourist trap feeling of being right in the chaos. I stayed there during what I’d guess was a pretty busy season, and while you’ll hear some city sounds (it’s not the countryside, obviously), it never got to that point where you’re lying awake wondering if someone’s having a party three floors up. The apartment itself feels thoughtfully put together rather than just decorated by someone who looked at a Pinterest board once. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen – you know, the kind where you can actually spread out your stuff without everything falling into the sink – and the bathroom has decent water pressure, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but somehow always is.
What really sold me on the place was how everything just worked without you having to think about it. The wifi didn’t cut out every time someone used the microwave, the heating actually responded when you adjusted it, and there were enough outlets that you weren’t playing musical chairs with your devices. Small things, I know, but after you’ve stayed in enough places where you’re constantly problem-solving basic stuff, you start appreciating when someone’s clearly thought through what people actually need. The check-in was straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right building or dealing with some overly complicated key situation. I’d definitely go back, which honestly says more than that impressive 9.5 rating (though I get why it scored so high). It’s the kind of place where you settle in and think, “okay, I can actually relax here” instead of spending your first day figuring out all the weird quirks.

Very clean, modern and well organised apartment. Everything needed was provided (fresh towels, clean bedding, kitchen utensils etc.). Free tea, water and chocolate is a nice touch. Contact with the host was perfect, very helpful and quick to respond ☺️
