But here’s the thing about Kolorowy Gocław that I wish someone had told me before I booked: it’s actually one of those hidden gems that locals probably don’t want tourists finding out about. The apartment itself lives up to its “colorful” name with these really thoughtful design touches that feel intentional rather than just thrown together. I mean, you’re not getting luxury hotel vibes here, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the space that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax. The kitchen is properly equipped too – and I say this as someone who’s stayed in way too many places where they give you a microwave and call it a kitchenette.

What really sold me on this spot though is the neighborhood situation. Gocław isn’t where most tourists end up, which honestly works in your favor because you get to see how Warsaw actually functions day-to-day. There’s this great little market area within walking distance where you can grab fresh bread and vegetables, and the tram connections are surprisingly solid – you can get to the city center in about 20 minutes without dealing with the tourist crowds in your immediate vicinity. The street itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, though you’ll hear some traffic during morning rush hour (nothing terrible, just real city sounds). Parking was easier than I expected, which anyone who’s driven in Warsaw will tell you is basically a minor miracle.

The Noclegi Renters team deserves credit here because they’ve clearly put thought into the small stuff that makes a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. Check-in was smooth, they actually answered their phone when I had questions, and the place was properly clean – not just surface-level tidy, but actually clean. I stayed there during a pretty busy period in September and never felt like I was just another booking to them. Sure, it’s a 3-star place so don’t expect marble bathrooms or a concierge, but honestly? For what you pay and where you are, that 9.2 rating makes complete sense. The value proposition is solid, the location gives you real Warsaw instead of tourist Warsaw, and you can tell someone actually cares about maintaining the place properly. If you’re the type of traveler who’d rather spend money on good food and experiences instead of fancy hotel lobbies, this is definitely worth considering.

  Location and property by itself was as promised, good quality furniture, all kitchen amendments. Small supermarket was reachable by foot, mini shops almost in same building. Possible to find parking for free, center is easy and cheap reachable by taxi

  What could be improved: – smell of cigarettes in the apartments.
  I traveled with a one year old baby and it was important to find the apartments with smoking restrictions. But when we just came into the apartments I felt that smell and contacted the admin staff. It was so cold outside, so the advise I was given from the admin – open the window. (even after coming back home I had my clothes smelled of cigarettes).
  – broken shower door. So all water was outside on the floor of the room
  – in the last night my baby got sick and we need to go to the hospital. When we came back he fall asleep (there was 1 hour left to check out). After contacting the admin of the apartments I was declined to check out 1 hour later (12PM not 11AM). So I had to check out with a sleepy and sick baby.
