Someone clearly put real thought into this place, from the industrial-meets-cozy vibe in the lobby to the way they’ve managed to make a 3-star property feel way more expensive than it actually is.

The staff here – and I mean this – actually seem to give a damn about what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling attempts, and the guy at reception gave me genuinely useful tips about the neighborhood that you won’t find on TripAdvisor. My room was smaller than some chain hotels, sure, but everything worked properly (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The bed was actually comfortable – not just “eh, it’ll do for a few nights” comfortable, but the kind where you sleep through your alarm. The bathroom had this rainfall shower head that made morning routines feel less like a chore, and they’d stocked proper toiletries, not those tiny bottles of mystery soap. What really got me though was the attention to sound – you know how some places you can hear every conversation in the hallway? Not here. I’m a light sleeper, and I slept like a rock.

Here’s the thing about that 9.8 rating – it’s not inflated hotel review nonsense. This place just gets the fundamentals right and then adds thoughtful touches that make you want to come back. The common areas have these perfect spots for working on your laptop (with outlets that actually work), and there’s this little corner where they serve coffee that’s legitimately good, not hotel lobby swill. I ended up spending way more time there than I planned, just because it felt… comfortable, I guess? Like someone’s well-designed apartment rather than a generic hotel space. The location works too – you’re not right in the tourist madness, but you’re close enough that a fifteen-minute walk gets you where you want to be. Parking was surprisingly easy for this part of town, and they helped sort that out without making it feel like a major production. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities, but sometimes you just want a place that does everything well without any drama – and that’s exactly what you get here.
