Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “La Boutique Verte,” I was expecting some pretentious little place trying too hard to be eco-chic. But you know what? This 3-star gem completely won me over, and that 9.7 rating actually makes perfect sense once you spend a night there.

The thing that struck me right away was how the staff genuinely seemed to care – not in that rehearsed hotel school way, but like they actually wanted you to have a good time. Check-in was smooth (I mean, no weird hidden fees or pushy upselling), and they knew the neighborhood inside out. When I asked about dinner spots, the desk clerk didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – she actually drew a little route to this incredible local bistro that I never would’ve found otherwise. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully simple. Nothing fancy, but everything works properly, which honestly is rarer than it should be these days. The bed was genuinely comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”), and the bathroom had decent water pressure – again, small things that matter when you’re actually living in the space. I loved that they’d clearly put thought into the details without going overboard… like, there were proper bedside reading lights instead of those useless decorative lamps most places seem to favor.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. It’s got that lived-in feeling where you can actually relax instead of worrying about touching anything. The common areas have this warm, slightly worn-in vibe – sort of like staying at your worldly aunt’s house, if that makes sense. Mornings were particularly nice; the breakfast setup was simple but fresh, and there’s this little courtyard where you can actually hear birds instead of traffic (well, mostly). I noticed they seem to attract a good mix of travelers – not just tourists, but people who looked like they might actually live in the city and were having family visit. That’s usually a good sign. The location worked out perfectly for walking around, though I’d definitely recommend comfortable shoes since you’ll want to explore on foot. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which is saying something for a boutique hotel. Honestly, the only minor thing I’d mention is that the walls are a bit thin – not terrible, but you might hear your neighbors if they’re having a particularly animated conversation late at night.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t a place that’s trying to be everything to everyone. It’s just really, really good at being what it is: a comfortable, thoughtfully run spot where you can get a proper night’s sleep and start your day feeling like a human being. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  The apartment was beautiful: arranged with taste, spacious and impeccably clean. It had all the facilities I needed, e.g. an iron and ironing board, a toaster, a coffee-maker, an electric kettle. I appreciated small details, such as a make-up mirror on the desk, or a welcome bottle of water and beer. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely bath, and the toiletries were provided. There was a desk and high-speed internet so it was easy to work in the apartment. The owner was responsive, kind and easy to get in touch with. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return there one day.

  Spotless, stylish and cozy apartment, we easily found a parking place down the street (paid on weekdays). We were pleased to get some treats in the fridge 🙂

  It was a wonderful apartment with luxury setting. We had everything we needed. There was even a puzzle and a voice book for our kid. Location is quite central. Parking was no problem at all, We parked on the street for free. I would definitely choose this apartment again.

  Piękne ciche, ciepłe, gustownie urządzone mieszkanie z dobra, cichą lokalizacją. Blisko stacja kolejowa ( choć nie było słychać hałasu z kolei ) .
