You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first saw the address – Graniczna 4 doesn’t exactly scream “luxury hotel” when you’re walking up to it. But here’s the thing about Labo Apartment Graniczna: it’s one of those places that gets everything right without trying too hard. The building itself is tucked into Śródmieście in a way that feels properly Warsaw – not the touristy bits, but not some random suburb either. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palace of Culture (whether you consider that a blessing or a curse), and the whole area has this lived-in feel that I actually prefer to the more polished hotel districts. The entrance is understated, which I appreciated after dealing with some of the overly grand lobbies elsewhere in the city.

What really sold me on this place was how they’ve managed to make apartment-style accommodation feel genuinely welcoming rather than just functional. The rooms – well, they’re more like proper apartments, honestly – have this comfortable, unforced vibe that makes you want to actually hang out rather than just crash for the night. The kitchen setup is legit useful (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), which matters when you’re staying more than a couple nights or when you want to grab groceries from the Żabka down the street instead of paying hotel restaurant prices. I was there during a particularly busy week in September, and while I could hear some street noise in the evenings, it wasn’t the kind of thing that kept me awake – just the normal sounds of a city that’s actually alive, you know?

The staff really knows their stuff about the neighborhood, which isn’t always a given at three-star places. When I asked about getting to Lazienki Park, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the nearest metro stop – he actually explained the tram route that’s way more scenic and drops you closer to the good entrance. Little things like that make a difference. Honestly, the 8.4 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed there a few days. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Warsaw, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The location works especially well if you’re planning to explore beyond just the Old Town tourist circuit – you can walk to some genuinely good restaurants in the area (there’s this pierogi place about three blocks away that locals actually go to), and the whole Śródmieście district starts to feel familiar pretty quickly. I’d definitely book it again, particularly for longer stays when having actual space to spread out becomes worth more than marble bathrooms and turndown service.

  The location: next to a main street with restaurants, bars, discos, and the famous palace of culture. The apartment was new and comfortable. The communication with the landlord was good and quick.

  The apartment is comfortable and clean, everything is new there. Also the apartment is not so far from the city center which is a big plus.
  
  What could be improved: It was not so easy to understand from the first time where were the keys, it was a quest a little bit. And it would be great to have some tea and coffee for guests in the apartment.

  The accommodation was clean and in a great location.
  
  What could be improved: Could do with a mirror in bedrooms and a toaster but has everything else. If there was writing explaining the lock box was on the bike rack and if a number was on the lock box this would have made a big difference we spent ages looking for the key. Don't let this put you off booking, accommodation it great 👍

  The location is good, given you like/don't mind some walking.
  The apartment was fairly clean.

  What could be improved: Honestly, the biggest issue is that it felt the owner is cheap. You have a tea maker and a coffee machine, but no coffee or tea. You have a dishwasher but you can't use it as there are no tablets or liquid. Also, I kept getting messages from them asking about my check in and check out times although I have already replied. All messages were basically aimed at "you can come earlier or leave later but it will cost you 30 PLN per hour, if you will let us know. Otherwise if you stay past the checkout hour, or use more than the number of sheets or towels we allocated for you, we will not return your 300 pln security deposit".
  We also didn't get shower gel or shampoo, and a lousy amount of hand soap, for which they did apologize and said they can't provide it, but they did "generously" offer to check out an hour later without paying 30 pln or taking the security deposit, to which I didn't bother to even respond.

  What could be improved: The Apartment rules were very strict. We were bombarded with messages trying to offer extra services for more money. Also the strict rules made no sense such as 'extra cost if we make a noise' or using 1 more set of bedding or an extra towel, They didn't provide us with adequate items to ensure the apartment stays in good condition while staying (cloths, wipes, tea towels)It felt like a trap for our money and so the whole time we were there, we felt we couldn't relax.
  
  The key to the apartment was difficult to locate (despite instructions) and there was only one key available which isn't helpful.
  
  There was a 24 hour security on the ground floor but he was asleep.
