The apartment-style setup is actually brilliant if you’re staying more than a night or two. I had this spacious unit with a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), and honestly, being able to make my morning coffee without trudging to a lobby at 6 AM was worth its weight in gold. The furnishings aren’t fancy – think clean, modern IKEA vibes – but everything works perfectly and feels thoughtfully arranged. What really struck me was how quiet it stays, even when the place is full. The walls are surprisingly thick, and I never once got woken up by neighbors, which… well, if you’ve stayed in budget places before, you know that’s not always a given.

The staff here genuinely seems to care, which sounds like marketing speak but I mean it. When I mentioned I was trying to find a decent breakfast spot that wasn’t touristy, the front desk guy – I think his name was Marcus – actually drew me a little map to this local café about six blocks away that ended up being the highlight of my mornings. That kind of personal touch is rare these days. The location itself is interesting – you’re not right in the thick of everything, but that actually works in your favor. It’s residential enough that you get a feel for how locals live, but close enough to main areas that nothing feels like a trek. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s circled blocks looking for a spot will appreciate. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the Wi-Fi can get a bit sluggish during peak evening hours when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, it gave me an excuse to actually read the book I’d been carrying around for months. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between comfort and authenticity – somewhere that feels like a temporary home rather than just a place to crash – this is definitely worth considering.
