Hotel Description

You know what? I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first walked up to Loft Sen Pszczoły on Piękna Street – honestly, the name threw me off a bit (it means “Bee Dreams” if you’re curious), but this little 3-star spot in Śródmieście really surprised me. The building itself has that classic Warsaw character, tucked between some gorgeous pre-war architecture that somehow survived everything this city’s been through. What I love about staying here is that you’re literally in the heart of everything – I mean, you can walk to the Palace of Culture in about ten minutes, and Nowy Świat is just around the corner. The loft-style rooms actually live up to the name, with these nice high ceilings that make even the smaller spaces feel pretty airy. The décor is sort of modern-minimalist without being cold, if that makes sense – think clean lines but with enough personality that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping in an IKEA showroom.

The location on Piękna is honestly perfect for exploring Warsaw on foot. You’ve got that whole trendy Powiśle area just a short walk south, and if you’re into the nightlife scene, Pawilony is super close by (though fair warning – it can get pretty loud on weekend nights, but the windows are decent at keeping most of it out). What really sold me on this place is how the staff actually knows the neighborhood – when I asked about good pierogi, the guy at reception didn’t just point me to some tourist trap but recommended this tiny place on Hoża that locals actually go to. The breakfast situation is pretty solid too, nothing fancy but they do proper Polish bread and decent coffee, plus there’s always fresh fruit which is honestly more than you get at a lot of places in this price range. I will say the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some rooms – mine was fine, but I heard another guest complaining about it – and the elevator is one of those tiny European ones that barely fits two people with luggage. But honestly? For a 3-star in this location, with rooms that are clean and comfortable and staff that actually seems to care, you’re getting solid value. The 7.8 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does everything well enough that you’ll sleep comfortably and wake up excited to explore Warsaw.

Reviews

  • Quirky affordable place – Kristopher from United States – June 4, 2025 (9/10)

Quirky, clean, easy. Great location. Very affordable.

What could be improved: The instructions for the lock to get into the building were strange. Some lights in the room didn't work but not a big problem. The TV remote didn't work.

  • Really interesting rooms, highly recommend accommodation – Spyridon from Greece – May 13, 2025 (8/10)

    Nice breakfast, perfect location.

What could be improved: I would prefer to have more the human factor as far as the hosting goes and better English communication.

  • Very unusual, great breakfast and definitely would recommend – Sharon from United Kingdom – March 18, 2025 (7/10)

Such a quirky place , very unique ..well equipped and comfortable

What could be improved: We never saw anyone ' hosting' , no receptionist which is needed to ask questio s etc . We struggled with darkness in corridors when sensor lights failed .

  • Very Good – Agáta from Czech Republic – February 2, 2025 (8/10)

Great location, clean apartment, unique design.

What could be improved: Shower head!!!!! That's the only downside of the trip was the shower head in Panda room, impossible to use for normal shower. And impossible to wash hair properly!! And we didn't have a second linen for the duvet.

  • Wonderful – Francoise from France – November 13, 2024 (9/10)

La chambre immense, la déco absolument originale…

  • Very comfortable stay – Karolina from United Kingdom – September 24, 2024 (9/10)

Very comfortable room and specious bathroom located near restaurants and central Warsaw.

  • Very Good – Pavlo from Australia – September 21, 2024 (8/10)

It is a very unusual place to stay in the centre of Warsaw. I would say it's a unique experience. The location of the hotel is perfect.

What could be improved: It was not so easy to find our room and also there are stairs inside the hotel, it's not easy to access the rooms with big suitcases or if you have some health issues.

  • Wonderful – Marlena from Poland – August 27, 2024 (9/10)

I had the dentist room. The room was good, big and confortable. At first it was strange to see a room themed like this but in the end it was very interesting

What could be improved: The only thing I would change are the beds włochy have wheels and moved a little bit.

  • Good location, normal breakfast and clean room. – Kateryna from Ukraine – August 22, 2024 (9/10)

Good location, near to the central railway station and city centre. Good breakfast, you can choose what you want and take it in the morning. I think that it was comfortable, because you can eat fresh products on the hotel.

What could be improved: It’s not negative point, but you must open all doors with instructions if you arrived after 20:00. It’s not hard, I think that it’s quest.

  • Good – Olympia from Italy – August 18, 2024 (7/10)

The kitchen was very well furnished and the breakfast was very good!

What could be improved: The property was very nice, our only small problem were the distances: from the hostel to the city center it’s a long walk.
