You know what? When I first saw the name “Lumina Lux Apart,” I honestly thought it might be one of those places that sounds fancier than it actually is. But stepping into this apartment near the Palace of Culture and Science – well, I was pleasantly surprised. The balcony is what really sold me, and I mean that literally sold me on staying here. You get this amazing view where you can actually see that iconic Stalin-era skyscraper looming in the distance, which sounds intimidating but is actually pretty spectacular, especially when it lights up at night.

The apartment itself feels genuinely luxurious without being stuffy about it. I’ve stayed in plenty of five-star places that feel like museums where you’re afraid to touch anything, but this spot manages to be elegant and livable at the same time. The kitchen is properly equipped – not just for show – and I actually ended up cooking a few meals there because, let’s face it, eating out in central Warsaw every night gets expensive fast. The bed is one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re drowning in foam, and honestly, the blackout curtains are a godsend if you’re dealing with jet lag. There’s this nice attention to detail everywhere, like the way they’ve set up the lighting so you’re not fumbling around in the dark trying to find switches.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being so close to everything. I mean, you’re walking distance from the Palace and all the chaos around Centrum, but somehow the apartment feels like this peaceful bubble. The 8.8 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not quite perfect (the shower pressure could be better, and parking nearby is… well, it’s Warsaw city center, so good luck with that), but it’s definitely one of those places where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Warsaw instead of just checking tourist boxes, this place gets it right.

  The apartment was spacious, clean, and we always felt safe. The coffee/tea provided were very much appreciated. The location of the apartment was also lovely. Easy to shop for necessities in a small convenience store nearby. There were also several great restaurants close that we walked to.

  Modern, spacious duplex in a very cosy area of Warsaw, close to Central Station. Modern style and correct equipment. Advantage to have a separate bathroom to each of the three bedrooms and the little balcony where you can have some fresh air.
