You know what? I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first looked up this place on Kępna street – I mean, Praga Północ isn’t exactly the first neighborhood that comes to mind when you think Warsaw accommodations. But honestly, that turned out to be exactly why LUX Golden Apartment works so well. The whole area has this authentic, lived-in feel that’s completely different from the polished tourist zones across the river. You’re basically staying where actual Varsovians live, and there’s something really refreshing about that. The apartment itself is genuinely nice – I’d say the 4-star rating is pretty accurate, maybe even conservative. The space feels properly luxurious without being stuffy, and whoever designed it actually thought about how people use hotel rooms. Like, there’s enough counter space in the bathroom to spread out your stuff, and the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). The building on Kępna is one of those solid Warsaw structures that survived everything and got a proper renovation – you can tell they didn’t just slap some paint on the walls and call it done.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, which honestly surprised me given that you’re still very much in the city. The neighborhood has this rhythm where it’s bustling during the day but settles down after dinner – perfect if you’re someone who needs actual sleep but doesn’t want to feel disconnected from Warsaw life. Getting around is actually easier than I expected too. The tram connections are solid (though I’ll admit it took me a day to figure out the system), and you’re close enough to walk to some genuinely good local spots that most tourists never find. There’s this little pierogi place about ten minutes away that doesn’t even have an English menu, but the woman behind the counter will basically adopt you if you show any enthusiasm for the food. The Renters Prestige team was pretty straightforward to deal with – check-in was smooth, they responded quickly when I had questions, and they didn’t try to oversell the place, which I always appreciate.

I mean, look – if you’re the type who needs to be within stumbling distance of the Old Town, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to experience Warsaw more like someone who actually lives here, while still having a really comfortable place to crash, this apartment hits that sweet spot perfectly. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but everything works well, it’s thoughtfully put together, and you’ll probably end up discovering parts of Warsaw you wouldn’t have found otherwise. Plus, honestly, your money goes further here than it would in some of the more obvious tourist areas, and you’re still getting quality that’s genuinely worth the price.

Hotel in Warsaw booking should be done early, especially during major cultural festivals when the city hosts internationally significant music and arts events.

Their business model either includes stealing and keeping visitors expensive belongings or they just dont care, if somebody from their personal steals customers expensive clothing. It is impossible to get anything back from them, should you forget something in the apartment! I guess it is a good way to make extra money for them! Never again would I visit such an unfriendly place!

  What could be improved: Don’t recommend, we had no hot water for 3 days, payed a lot of money to stay been moved around and they really didn’t care, no calls back no emails had to be on the phone everyday and all day!

  What could be improved: The apartment hadn't been ready for our stay EVEN though we had a late check-in. They simply didn't make a house cleaning. They don't have live support service via call but text only. We were waiting about 40 minutes to receive a solution. They suggested me to pay for different apartments and assured me I wouldn't be charged for the current reservation. They provided a different option with amenities not even close to our current unsuccessful booking. I had to find a different place to stay in the late evening.
  Renters.pl as a service couldn't able to sort my issue well and quickly.

  Відмінне помешкання. Приміщення досить велике, має надзвичайно якісний ремонт, дуже високу стелю, чудовий дизайн та дуже якісний ремонт. Я не очікував за таку ціну аж на стільки гарне мешкання. Я з задоволенням приїду сюди наступного разу.
